Extremely funny woman. Always makes class interesting and tends to talk to herself alot... She is a hard grader though and expects work to be handed in on time. She is always open to help you if you have questions and does know what she is talking about which is a plus. Lots of movies and television things ! :)

Besides that scriptwriting at Ithaca College is apparently a non-collaborative effort, the classes are not supportive of the writer in general. Instructions are flown through, videos are watched, and small discussion is had, especially helfpul, insightful comments from students. It makes me sad.

First and foremost, this lady is nuts. That being said, she's a good teacher. Media Writing is probably the joke of the Park school in that it's fairly easy, but you could do worse than to have it with Cynthia.

Writing Series TV. Cynthia's a highly creative and intelligent professor who will always give good feedback on your script. Though she doesn't do much "teaching" per se, her assignments are helpful given the nature of the course. The only thing I didn't particularly like was the over-reliance on student workshop sessions. Too many.

she is very, very funny and also extremely nice. her class can be challanging if you dont keep up, but she is very willing to help. i have stopped by her office many times and she is always willing to sit down and talk to me. if you are interested in the subject and are ready to work, you will have an amazing experience. it really was a fun environ

Cynthia is a good teacher who really knows her stuff. Her assignments are interesting and always have to do with whatever she happens to be discussing in class at the moment. Her occasional in class assignments are also interesting, but some can be a little pointless. She does have a tendency to play favorites, but overall, she's a good professor.

cynthia is abolutely halarious. you never know what is going to pop out of her mouth at any moment. she's really open to our classes ideas and has always be there for me outside of class when i have questions. i hear people say on here that she's hard, but i've had nothing but great response from her.

In my experience, Cynthia has always been incredibly helpful. She is ALWAYS available during office hours and always willing to discuss your progress. She knows what she's talking about in class and I've often found that, though initially opposed to her comments, they turned out right in the end.

Very hard grader. Good professor overall but she was a little too strict about not allowing side conversations during class. Half the time the students talking quietly would be talking about class and she would stop everything just for a few whispers.

cynthia is one of the funniest professors around. she is open to reading and editing ur assignments b4 u hand them in and that helps alot. media writing with her is alot of fun, and fair workload but more easygoing than the others, you should get her if u are going to take this class.

Very funny and likeable. I loved Cynthia. Very knowledgable about every aspect of writing in the media. She expects more from papers, but that's a good thing. I found her tests to be quite easy. I never once looked at the book.

she's a fun person. and she tends to get very far off topic in class. she grades pretty harsh when it comes to writing, but its a pretty slack class. the "tests" are really quizzes and they're very easy!
