Comment:

She is really a good professor. The handouts she gives in the classroom are very helpful. If you do not understand, you can ask her during the practice time in class. The exams are not very hard if you practice and understand the extra-credits question she gives. I would like to take her class again.

She is really quite annoying, she rushes through chapter in class without explaining it in depth making it very hard to understand. She is more helpful if you were to meet her after class but even then your grade will not be easily earned at all.

Harsh grader, and the tests will make or break your grade. In class she can explain some chapters well, then the next chapter she will rush through and leave everyone behind, so make sure to ask questions and meet her after class whenever you can because if not you could fail a test which could break your grade.

Comment:

She is a super harsh grader. I found her quite annoying and dreaded going to Labs. She gives you an outline (essentially), of every lab, and if you follow it and you're lucky she'll give you an 80 at best. My friends and I would work on labs together, and have pretty much the same information, but I'd get 70s and they'd get 100s. AVOID HER CLASS.

All homework was done via Mastering Physics, but unlimited attempts were given with no points taken off. Extra credit is offered before every test and test corrections allow 1/4 of the points to be given back. Tests are graded somewhat strict, although if you write down all your work and get the answer right, you will do fine.

She was a good physics professor. Her class was not too hard and if you ever needed help she was always willing. The Mastering Physics homework was kind of annoying.

Professor Kirkpatrick doesn't always know how to explain things clearly the first time through, but if you go to her office hours, it shows that she really wants to help you. I appreciated her enthusiasm. She offered test corrections which was really nice.

Decent. She grades lab notebooks pretty critically but not a bad class at all. She spells out steps for the writeups very well so you don't have to do as much work

I had her for PH 111, 113, and 113 lab. Her classes aren't too bad. I found it hard to fall asleep in her class, but easy to space out and stop paying attention. She puts all her notes on powerpoints that she usually posts online. DON'T take her for lab. Following the lab book only gets you a B, must do extra for A, and she's not an easy grader.

She's a bit of a jerk on HW grading, with a very mean format, but a nice enough teacher. She will not let you fail. Still, you can do better. Tests are not too hard, usually 1 hard problem, daily mini homework, but it's a completion grade. Impossible to sidetrack. Annoying voice. VERY tough lab grader. You will not get an A unless you go way over.

for lab she's a really hard grader, so good luck trying to get an A on labs. if you're not picky as to the grade you get on reports and just want an 85 or something then go for it. if you want to shoot for the moon with A's then stay away from her. she's really nice and helps you out with the experiments when you need help.

she's average. if youre good at physics you'll be fine. if youre not then you'll struggle. she teaches off her powerpoints which arent great, & you cant study from them at all. she's alright, i would try to get someone else, but if you really cant then oh well. she gives study guides but posts JUST the answers WAY too late to even study from.

I had for for the Physics I lab. She's really nice and is really helpful in the lab. I haven't ever gone to her outside of lab though. The only thing that I didn't like was that she is pretty meticulous on grading your lab books. So if you're looking for a good challenge, go ahead, otherwise I'd steer clear.

Second class with her. Good prof, not the best here, but still worth taking. In class problems helped me learn. Tests are straight forward. Recomended.
