Shes not a bad lecture teacher but outside of class for her office hours, she is never available. If she is in her office she will be on Facebook instead of uploading the homework that she gave you that day. You have to remind her about grades. Her online exams have no relevance to what we learn in class. Her notes arent in her online exams.

Doc Shelley is great if you don't need her for anything besides lectures. She has a great personality and stories to tell, but she doesn't know how to balance being a professor, adviser and her farm. Because of this, class will often be cancelled with little to no warning and tests will be confusing. Good luck to anyone who's taking her classes.

Second semester here and Ive had a lot of issues with doc Shelley already. Shes a nice lady however shes not great as a professor. She covers so little material in the class I took but the tests were 72 questions long. Also she is my advisor and is a NIGHTMARE to get in contact with. Never answers emails and is so quick when you finally meet her

She's a nice woman but she's ridiculously hard to get hold of. Don't expect her to answer emails because she doesn't. She doesn't show up to class a lot and gives no warning. Her lectures aren't bad but she doesn't go over most of the stuff on test/quizzes. BUY THE TEXTBOOK, and read it. She's a nice woman but a crappy proffesor

Shes a great professor! However, a horrible adviser. If you do make the mistake of choosing her for an internship adviser you need to stay on top of her. Send lots and lots of emails. She will really screw you over if you don't remind her everyday that you need a recommendation letter, or you need a grade in or you need to schedule something.

Really great as a person, but as a professor? Ehh... She's kind of an airhead. Doesn't really explain clearly what she wants done, lets classes get out of control, spends classes teaching absolutely nothing. I feel I haven't learned a single thing in her classes and they are wasting my time. And there's very little work to be graded, so low average

She can teach her general 111 class, however she has nothing to offer in any classes more advanced. 418 is a 400 level class, I expected to learn a lot and be challenged. I did not learn a single thing that i didn't already know, and the only challenge was submitting work that she thought was worthy of an A. Also very hard to get a hold of.

Lectures are boring and she doesnt help out her students. she spazzes out for people being a few minutes late when she is usually late.She seems like she would be a cool person to know utside the classes room, but in class you have to live on a farm to be given the light of day.

Dr.Shelly is a horrible teacher, she did not help at all, she spazzes out over the most random things. For example if you don't hand in your quiz after 5 minutes from starting the class she wont except it. And you cannot makeup the test. She is not a good teacher in general.

I really like her as a person. She has the most interesting stories in class and they were not boring lectures. I feel that the tests were harder than the material that was taught. I felt that there was a massive amount of material for the short amount of time we had in classes. It's a hard class if you have never been around farm animals (like me)
