You can tell that Dr. Venn really cares about oceanography which makes it fun and easy to listen to her lectures. All you need to do is go to class!!! and study the notes and you can easily get an A in this class. She offers lots of extra credit and there is very little homework. This class is easier if you've previously taken other EGGS courses.

Dr. Venn really knows her stuff, but this is a difficult class. You're not gonna learn about Fish and get an easy A. She moves through the material a bit fast but she's a nice woman and cares about her students, she'll help if you ask.

You need to attend class. The powerpoint are online but only shows pictures. She explains them in class. This is a HARD class. It goes too in depth. It is a lot of chem. Quizzes every week.

Tough grader, briefly goes over material and quizzes on the stuff she only mentions once or twice. Powerpoints wont help you because most of them are left blank and are discussed in class, so you must attend. One of the hardest classes taken.

Oceanography class was my favorite but don't go in thinking you learn about fish and get an easy A. Many people did poorly. You must put the work and effort in. She is AWESOME, offers extra cred, goes out of her way to help students and is so involved in her lectures. Love her but get ready to study. A lot.

Dr. Venn is a great professor. She is passionate about what she teaches and you can tell she loves it. She's a really smart lady. She gives practice exams and quizzes to help with the exams. In class assignments/video assignments are easy. It's not hard to get an A in this class.

Dr. Venn is a fantastic teacher! Shes is extremely helpful and really knows what she is talking about. Great professor. The class itself is relatively easy if you go to class and study for the tests. The material can be at times boring, but I learned alot from the class that will be useful to me in the future. I would recommend the class.

Dr.Venn is by far my favorite prof at Bloom! She really knows her stuff. Test are not hard if you study and GO TO CLASS. Everything on the exam is from her PP.She gives you study guides and always has review sessions before the exam. If you fail, it is seriously your own fault. She also makes dumb jokes, but you will find yourself laughing at them.

I LOVED DR. VENN! She is a great professor. She is helpful, easy to understand and will explain anything to you a second time if you need help. I highly recommend this class. Her grading style is awesome and she makes things interesting. Even if you do not like Oceanography or the sciences she you will enjoy her class. NEVER used to text.

She doesnt take the time to fully explain anything. She flies through the powerpoints & doesnt bother asking the class if they have everything, I missed a lot of notes that way. Dont buy the book I didnt and im glad b.c you wont need it at all! Kiss her ass because she has her favorites which I think is really dumb. Shes makes really dumb jokes too

For real, anyone who said she was easy was not being truthful. NO ONE in my class did well, you will bust your ass for a B. She tries to cram waaaaay too much information into this class. Iw ould not recommend taking her if your not a science major.

Class is pretty easy, doesnt take attendence, posts past tests online that you can print out and review with, has review sessions before the test, which any question you ask will most likely be on the test. But watch when she grades make sure you get the grade you earned.
