Nicest guy but very dull! He is very mono-toned and contradicts what he says once questions are asked. I would suggest asking for any professor but him if you can!

Great professor. Tries to involve all the students and make class interesting. Unfortunately, the level of students limits his ability to expand on ideas and share the knowledge he has and forces him to repeat elementary ideas throughout the semester.

where do i begin? I am in a science class bc it is a requirement, and that is the same with eveyrone else. Burgess treats the class as if we know everything he knows, he is not interesting, and talks down to you if you dont the answer. the best part of his class is that attendence doesnt count...

The best teacher ever. Tough and forces you to become an independent learner, which is the best lesson any student can learn. He has high expectations and helps all of us to reach it. Dr. Burgess is an amazing professor. He makes you solve things for yourself, which is unusual nowadays. Many people don't like this because it can be very frustrating. If you can last thru his classes, you will have an amazing education. Be prepared for A LOT of thinking and mathematics.
