Ha, the best guy in the world. You're an idiot if you get a poor grade, all the answers are in the study guide. You just go to class to learn cool stuff and hear great stories. Kind of like watching the discovery channel. Loved it.

Mandatory attendance to pass his quizzes. They are easy to get b's on, can be tough to pull of a's. He ends up curving at the end of the semester though. Got straight b's on his quizzes, did well on the final, and completed other work to get an A-. Highly recommend this class!!

If you dont go to every class and dont want to read about boring ass topics, this class is not for you. I took it my senor year to fill a requirement and ended up failing the class. Very hard guy to get a hold of because he is still living with seventies technology, ie no computer, no phone, and a limited perception or reality.

Ha, this is the coolest guy ever. Even though he says he's retiring this year, he shouldn't. Great class for non-science majors. Tells the coolest stories, though it's still pretty easy to fall asleep. Even if you fall asleep you can still get a good grade, just study the study guide and your notes for all the answers to quizzes! Piece of cake

Dale is "Coasting towards retirement (G. Dale)." Granted I fell asleep a lot because he can be boring sometimes, you can't deny the easiness of the class. One book all year, 4 quizzes, and a final (no midterm). He can get off topic easyily, but he is a good dude. The class is easy. Take this science if you want to sleep and get an A.

Dale is so old and the class is incredibly boring. The quizzes are tricky and they are worth 60% of the grade. But it is a good class to fill bio requirement so I guess i would recommend...just bring a pillow to class.

Very practical class that highlights the environmental problems that this world faces. Phenomenal professor. Learn a great deal and do well at the same time. Took class out of interest and it was well worth it. Dale is among the best professors at Fordham
