He is a cool guy, he knows his GD knowledge just not on a computer so never ask him about a problem reguarding actual design on the computer. He knows what looks good and has been in the field of Design forever... worked at a well known mag. and knows what the real world of working is like.

Very different from the rest of the GD teachers. You might think he doesn't know what he's saying, but he has a lot of credible experience in the field. He likes new ideas and allows you to try new things.

the man is a pot smoking moron. he has no idea what is going on and he has very little feedback that can be helpful. one day he will tell you he hates your project and to start over and then when you show him the changes he makes suggestions to make it look like your original one. the mans a idiot.

Mr. Hirsch is a great teacher. He seems to be the only one that that knows about Graphic Design and has actually worked in the field before teaching. I value his opinion the most. Great Teacher

Mr. Hirsh is a good teacher as far as graphic design goes at pct. He lives on vine right in the thick of college partying. He doesn't give you s*** if you don't come to class. And a final note, he's layed back and has a good class.
