Took this course as an online class for summer. Total of four exams: 50 questions in an hour, seemed like there wasn't enough time. Seemed like questions didn't relly correspond with the notes or book readings. She takes forever to reply to emails. Tried to say I didn't take the last exam when I in fact did. Will not be taking her again.

Impossible to pass her class, I've been on the deans list 5x. Tests have little to do with the lectures. Unable to contact via email (it's an online course). She doesn't use a text book, but assigns text book reading. Excepts students to be literally be biologist.. so ridiculous.

I had to take bio for my major. I don't find the material to be very difficult but her delivery is very poor. It's a lecture heavy class where you can hardly understand what she says and the tests are difficult because you must read the textbook to be successful along with review notes. She is also very angry as well. Do NOT take this class.

Well I failed the class. Its an OK class, pretty interesting for Biology. Then I took the first test.....failed. Such hard tests. I would say about 1/4 of the class withdrew after the first test. Tests are so detailed its not fair! DO NOT TAKE HER. Super hard. I dont think anyone in the class got over a C.

First let me say i do enjoy her as a person but as a profressor, she SUCKS. She is unorganized, demeaning, and when you ask for help she gets mad sometimes. If you memorize all her lecture notes, you should do good on tests. She does make you draw a lot and says nobody can get a perfect grade on the drawings. And she CANT SPELL FOR SHIT on slides!

Totally unorganized, does not follow syllabus, rambles on about everything under the sun, talks on her phone, does not cover material you are tested on, treats you like you are a 12 year old, randomly misses class and changes practical/exam dates literally the day before they were scheduled...

WORST TEACHER IVE EVER HAD! She was late for class almost every day but students lost points for being late! She was rude and would always tell students their opinions on a subject were wrong. I studied harder for her class than ever before and failed the first two!

Absolute worst,test are tricky and even stoop to mixing up T and F on tests just to see if you are paying attention. Constant comparison to her grad class and what she had to learn to what us lowly undergrads only have to do. Frustration to the extreem. We learned nothing just memorize pictures, slides, and names then regurgitate them for her.

Very nice person, but she is not a good teacher. There is no doubt that she is extremely intelligent, but she doesn't really get the information across to the students.one thing that really bothered me was that she would spell everything wrong in her notes, but take points off for spelling on exams and practicals.

She can be a piece of work. Very disorganized and shows up late for class everyday. If you can,Take Dr. Ashley for botany so you have a better chance in the class. Grades come from 3 exams and that's it. If you do take it make sure to buy everything she suggests becuz u use it! The lab manual was a waste tho. More lab than teaching.

This is a hard class with a lot of memorization. You will need the book for this class, and read it often, since test questions are pulled from the publisher's website and from the book. The class notes just tell you where to look in the book, not giving specific info. No one gets below a 9/10 on lab drawings, even though these minimally help grade

Okay a kind of nice woman...but a HORRIBLE teacher. She constantly shows up late to class, I can tell you more about her personal life than botany, and her tests are less than to be desired. I knew this wouldn't be an easy class, but I never thought it would be this miserable. I had a 3.5 prior to this class...goodbye medical school. Take Ashley!!!
