I guess this professor is the most energetic Canadian man at Monday 8:30am. I must say he's a good teacher. But I couldn't read his blackboard at all because he wrote in cursive.

Overall, this was an excellent course. This guy knows what he's doing. He explains things very clearly and is very thorough. The class can, however, make one sleepy at times. There's more assignments than usual (around 10) but they are really short and easy and can be done the night before. The textbook is completely unnecessary.

Gives crystal clear lectures (often explains the exact same thing 3 or 4 times), has plenty of online notes, grades fairly, and he gives full, detailed outlines of the midterm and the final beforehand so we know what to expect. Highly recommended.

Excellent course notes package (although it seems dumbed down form the text, which I didn't use), and it seems like he knows his stuff. Numerical analysis hasn't really been useful yet. If the class is at 8:30 expect to fight sleeping through lectures.

One of the best profs I've ever had. organized course notes, concise but very clear explaination of the material, more than plenty of office hour, very easy to talk to -- I sure hope some of my other csc or ece profs could be more like him!!!
