One may smile and smile and be a...ultimately useless, and, I suspect, uninterested prof. Alright in class but terrible one on one, absolutely no listening skills and really, when you get past the constant (eventually grating) geniality, there's not much there.

Nice guy- I was a terrible student in his class. But then again I wasn't terribly engaged. Perhaps the full benefit of his classes requires more self-motivation than I possessed as a freshman.
