It is kind of hard to understand at first because of his accent but you get used to it. Handwriting is hard to read as well. His tests are mostly stating theorems. Doesn't give homework but there are some quizzes but he usually made them practice. There are only 4 tests so there are not a lot of chances for points so study for the tests!

DO NOT TAKE HIM! I REPEAT! DO NOT TAKE TOMER! He is impossible to understand. There is no partial credit given so working out the problems to get the answer is pointless. It sucks. I made A's in both college algebra and plane trig and had to drop this class bc I was failing. I couldn't read his handwriting or understand him at all! He was no help!

Do not take his class. He is extremely difficult to understand because of his severe accent. He will not answer questions in class because he interrupts you before you can even ask the question. He provided bonus points to our class merely becuase we started off with 40 students, dropped to 21, and half were failing. DO NOT TAKE HIS COURSE.

I couldn't understand any thing he said. When I asked questions he would cut me off and say it was my fault I didn't understand. You only get three grades (tests) he gives you quizzes but they dont even count. The things he teach in class and the way he teaches it in class is not helpful on the test. If you take him plan to go to Math Lab DAILY!

He is an indian teacher. Honestly he is very good at math. I can feel very clear after litening his lecture. If you are good at math, take it, you will get an eay A!Becasue no homework and no quiz is included in grade. Only tests!Recommended!

Absoultely horrific. He gives no partial credit. And claims that his office is open for discussion, not true. I went there to talk about a question I had. And he never let me ask the question. He kept interrupting me so I couldn't ask it!! What kind of teacher would do that. DONT TAKE HIM if you value your grade!

This class ruined my 4.0 grade point. This was the worst class that I have ever had. He is so hard to understand that you can't make out what he says. He is not a good teacher and will boast the first day that he has a drop out rate of 60%. After class questions are a joke. NO PARTIAL CREDIT! I don't recommend this class for anyone!!

Very hard to understand. For business calculus he does nothing but talk and give examples without really teaching. He gives 5 or 6 examples over the same type of problem when his point was made after the first example. Constantly makes errors and if you are trying to learn from him it can be very confusing.

Don't take Tomer. I had to and it made me lose me scholarship. This guy can't teach at all. The material on the tests comes from random lectures throughout the semester. We never had homework and never used the book so don't buy it.

Once you get used to the way he talks, it is easy to understand what he is saying. It's a really easy class, in my opinion. He teaches the basics of C++ and programming in general, very well. The tests are all multiple choice and come from the notes and the chapter reviews in the book. If you study the reviews in the book, its an easy A.

Tomer has a really thick accent, but he really does care about your performance in the class. If you're not doing well, he'll try really hard to help you, and with a no-pressure attitude. Once you learn to understand him, just pay attention and you'll be fine in his class.
