Ok somehow I came out of this class with a B. I dont understand how he grades his tests but he does it on a crazy curve which helps out a lot. His lecture style was a lot different from anything Ive had before in that there were no slides and he kinda just talked about random facts and wrote some things on the board.

My second time taking Boroto & I've learned more in his classes than I have in any other class. He's an incredible man & has enough life experiences to make your head spin. His tests are designed to make sure you understand concepts and if the majority of class gets a question wrong he throws it out. Great professors, FSU is truly losing a great!

BE SMART, AND DO NOT TAKE THIS MANS CLASS. There is no STRUCTURE to his lectures. Most teachers have notes either in class or online. This man has neither. His lectures are composed of his random thoughts, and every now and then he'll write a word on the board with no definition. Don't bother buying the book. 70% of the tests are from lectures.

He's an interesting professor, but his classes are difficult. I found that the more I read, and the more detailed my lecture notes were, the better I did on the exams (who knew?). If you can do both, you'll be alright. I'm not sure how I made an A, but the curve is large. If I'd done worse, I probably wouldn't have liked the class as much. ;)

What the previous people have said is true...he does ramble on and at times I found myself wondering "What the hell is he talking about?" but after you get used to his lecturing style you start to see the method to his madness. His aim is definitely to get you thinking about the concepts and how to apply them & that's how he teaches.

probably the worst class ive ever taken. He is very scatterbrained. talks in circles. test do not corrospond with anything. majority of the class failed the test even after a huge curve. awful class... avoid like the plague.

I have never dropped a class in my life... but I dropped Personality because of him. He is very unapproachable and the first week of lecture was so off topic. I didn't know what to take down in notes or what to read in the book. I got out as soon as I could.

This professor was very confusing at times, yet his aim was at learning concepts rather than memorizing names. I got an A in the class...the final was 70% of our grade; on the 4 tests(1 of which he threw out) my grade average was a 60%. He obviously curves and also gives extra credit.

One of the best professors I've ever had. Great guy, cares about what hes teaching, cares if you understand it or not. He's a little scary at first put its just a tough front he puts up. All you have to do to get an A is go to class and skim through the book, and study a before the test (what you should do for every other class)

Look, the man is obviously a genius. Which makes it hard for him to connect with. I bet he is a good psychologist, but as a professor he's no good. You learn some good stuff about life, but nothing that'll be on the test!!! Take him if you wanna meet a character and dont care to fail.

I had him a few years ago for the personality theory course. As others have noted, very much lacking in structure, he jumps around in almost a stream of consciousness approach. Nice man, though, very pleasant.

Very spaced out teacher. During his lectures he talked in circles and even with extensive notes and going to class everyday, tests always had questions that never corresponded with lectures or textbook. Very unorganized, late to class, and made negative comments to people who asked questions in class. Would NOT recommend. take another professor.

On every test almost the entire class hardly passed, even after he put a major curve on it. It's ridiculous how bad almost all the students did. You never have any idea what your grade is going to be. Avoid taking him, his class is hard, unless your willing to attend everyday and study hardcore.
