Did this guy retire? I certainly hope not, because Breen is AMAZING. His classes are always mired by people who don't care about the subject, but if you get past them, Breen is the coolest; funny, smart, and I totally dig his political views (pretty clearly a leftist dude). Just take notes in class and you'll do fine.

Very engaging lectures, keeps you interested. One of the most "balanced" politics/history professors I've encountered. Although clearly he has a socialist/globalist leaning he does not always present capitalist/conservative ideas as "bad" (sometimes). Definitely a memorization class, take good notes

He is one of the most interesting people I have ever met, and he knows his sh*t. I hate history, and I loved his class. He's like a one-man play: He sings, he plays the tuba, he jokes and does voices ... Take a class with him. You will NOT regret it. He makes you want to learn.

Prof Breen was a great professor. He has to be the BEST History professor at FSC. I thoroughly enjoyed going to his classes. Although he is fun and interesting, you must attend all classes and pay attention to do well.

Im a senior and I know that Breen is one of the best teachers on this campus. he's a very smart, nice guy who knows his material and sticks to it but hes a very fair grader and does an excellent review the class before exams.
