Dan is personable and helpful. He is also respectful and very knowledgeable about his subject. He shows you how to approach writing in a completely different way to make it work for you. This was one of the most useful classes I took during college.

This teacher was awesome. This independent writing class I took 157/257/357 was totally worth it if you meet with him. Some students are allowed to meet with him each week and the difference in advice is as clear as night and day. He shows you how to make your work amazing so you can love writing too.

I never learned so much in such an enjoyable way--he teaches practical, necessary knowledge and skills with great enthusiasm and goes out of his exceptionally busy schedule to meet one-on-one with every student. What a display of true dedication to education--no one should graduate w/o this class!!
