knowledgeable, yes. good at conveying knowledge, no. powerpoints are good but tests are hard and studying is definitely a must. no extra homework to boost grade - all of your grade comes from tests. seriously consider other sections before registering for this one.

Fair tests, study the slides and do the extra homework. Not a difficult class at all. Gives extra homework problems, tests come straight from the powerpoint slides or the homework. Best section of 201 to take.

Dr Dan is terribly knowledgeable. He just doesn't tell his students what to study, or how to prepare for his exams. Hes really funny, and really rude. Not easy to get in touch with.

dr dan likes to scare his students...hes funny tho, like a big kid when he gets to blow things up. he lets class out early often, but expects a lot of his class. he doesnt understand why the class avg is always below 50...

I must say, I used to hate Chemistry with an undying passion. However, since I started this class with "Dr. Dan", his teaching methods and sense of humor have REALLY changed my mind!!! I would highly recommend him. Probably the only bad thing is that your grade is SOLELY based on your 4 major test grades. It's really good if you are good @ tests

when i can actually focus on the subject, i learn a lot. most of the time i am fantasizing about him though during class. he is a little too cute to be a professor...especially a SCIENCE professor.

Chemistry is not my thing, but Feldheim knows his stuff. He is really willing to help out students...lots of chances for extra credit if you go to class.
