Took both classes. A student who brought in news that would be discussed during period and used for lessons. Most students in my course were illiterate 18 year olds out of Smith Cotton HS. Too worried about getting laid on Fri PM. They couldn't grasp basic theory. When the instructor, who owned two businesses, says "read this", read it.

He tends to get sidetracked but is still an effective teacher. Make sure you read the book and you will do fine. Tests are difficult but he grades on a curve.

He is hard to understand at times and doesn't do a very good job at conveying what he is trying to say. He also has a habit of winking at the guys in the front row, which can be distracting at times if you're not into that kind of stuff...

Extremely hard quizzes, pretty hard tests, lecture not so helpful. Nice guy, & easily side tracked. Best to read the chapters & know them for the tests, his notes are useless. You can defend your answers, but he'll "Show you that is wrong just BECAUSE

Don't try to sound so smart...yes, he teaches from the "university curriculum", otherwise known as the BOOK, other than that he doesn't have a good grasp on what he's teaching. He constantly corrects himself on what he teaches because he DOESN'T

Allow Pilliard scrathes his ass a lot, he is a good educator. He teaches directly from a university currilum and for the ignorant person who posted the hateful message, maybe you should just stay at home and read the book and only show up for the tests
