Dan's a pretty chill guy but not a great prof. He doesn't post anything online besides articles so you better keep handouts. He obviously doesn't like to read papers but for his short answer questions for exams, it will be 8-12 questions with 4-5 components each but he doesn't allow more than 2 sentences per component. Lots of tedious work.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. Weirdest professor I've ever had. I despise going to his class because he makes me so uncomfortable. It's hard to learn when he actually teaches because he's so weird. He just babbles on for the entire class and basically reads from the textbook. The only reason I am passing is because I took stats in high school. AVOID HIM!

3 exams,1 presentation, and in class activities are your final grade. exams are worth 75%. If you can get past the quirkiness of him, he's not that bad. Although, he s very unclear with what he wants for the presentation. exams are MC,matching, and a few short response. Read the textbook, go to class for participation points and it wont be terrible

He's a super fun person, a solid "dad" type of guy. His notes are kind of all over the place so READ the textbook. Test are pretty easy if you study the notes and read the book. Can easily pass the class.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. Dr. Repinski does all this lecture with no slides, and it seems like he's just rambling on for an hour and 15 minutes. He doesn't really touch on anything specific in class so you really have to teach yourself everything from the book. And tests are HARD.

Overall, his class was interesting. However, youre only graded on the three exams and one group project, and the exams are very hard. They usually relate more to the textbook which he rarely refers to. Most of what is discussed in class isnt on the exams. READ THE BOOK.

This is an interesting enough class, but no amount of preparation will get you a decent grade on the tests. EVERY single 300 level psych course I've taken has been easier than this class. I highly regret signing up for it. You don't even need to go to class as long as you read the textbook.

His lectures are very boring. He basically goes on and on and it doesn't really help anyone with the tests. Had to teach myself from the text book all semester long. He is a very tough grader on essays too requiring students to write in an outline form for short response and not in paragraph form. Nice guy and a good person just a bad teacher.

He's a really nice guy, but a terrible professor. He doesn't cover a fraction of the material that will be on the test. You have to know every single word of every single chapter that will be on the test. His lectures are pointless, only go for the participation points that will go into your grade. Avoid the class.

First of all, basically every analogy/example he provides is related back to sex so just be prepared for that. Because he truly bombards you with that stuff and more times than not it doesn't even make sense. He's very vague, lectures are sometimes hard to follow, and the two papers are difficult to do well on because his feedback isn't useful.

Repinski repeats his sentences two or three times before moving on to his next sentence. Is obsessed with sexualizing young girls to the point where I'm too disgusted to listen to him. Whispers into a microphone and uses weird manorisms. Overall horrible class and horrible teacher. Avoid at all costs.

Took this class as a requirement for Adolescent Ed. He uses a weird sort of raspy soft voice in class which almost feels like he's patronizing at times. We had 2 essays, neither of which he was specific about and the first of which the whole class got a horrible grade on. Tests are mostly from his lectures. Good researcher but bad teacher.

Psychology professor gone English wanna be. He makes an unnecessary effort to speak "eloquently" which just ends up in you losing focus, having no idea what he's trying to get at or laughing at his awkwardness. His test can feel like a guessing game because of wording. Talks in circles a lot. A nice guy but not my favorite professor. READ THE BOOK!

Nice person, awful professor. He is EXTREMELY quirky and will lull you to sleep. He relates everything to sex. Tests aren't too bad, but you WILL NOT do well on the 2 essays. He doesn't understand how to teach you how you can improve them. He'll give you guidelines and you'll think you're writing it right, but surprise, you're not. Avoid his class.

He means well but is not a good teacher. He is vague in class but expects very detailed papers and the tests are hard. He is also an extremely hard paper grader. Overall I regret taking his class.

I had him for 236 and his tests were easy if you read the text. And the in class project was really easy with no tests. So I decided to take him for 216 and it was the biggest mistake ever. He grades papers very arbitrarily and you won't get over an 80. I would recommend him for 236 as an interesting elective but not 216.

Great professor. I found the class interesting and easy. He does grade papers like an english professor but they're only 2-3 pages, just proof read! For the tests, I just read the textbook chapters in the few days before the tests and got 95+ on all of them - they are very straightforward. Class was always interesting and flew by.

very cool guy! he'll do anything to help you out if he can. you have to pay attention to what he says though because he doesn't use powerpoints or mycourses. He seems very interested and invested in what hes talking about. I wouldnt recommend taking him for 251 but for 216, I think he's a quality teacher.

Probably the worst teacher I've had for a Psych class. He thinks he's an English teacher, and uses unnecessary vocabulary to teach the class. Tests are overly difficult and require memorization of names and data from the dozens of handouts he gives you. Don't take this class with him, especially if your not a Psych major.
