He is the best chemistry teacher I have every had. He makes the 8 am lecture worth it. He is also there for you during and out of office hours. He pushes you and makes you work hard and see your potential. You have to put time and energy into his class and show up. He expects a lot from his students. Very helpful. I will take any class he teaches.

Dr. Vogt is incredibly helpful, but you do need to actually go and speak to him or shoot him an email. He is happy to explain things you don't understand as long as you come to his lectures and put forth an effort. He has a great sense of humor and makes it worth the early morning lecture. His exams are super hard but you do learn the material.

His exams and tests are REALLY hard, mainly because he hardly give partial credit. He does take into account how hard you are trying though and it always helpful at office hours. The hw is give away points so make sure to turn it in!

Loved this class! I want to take him for 111 as well! We're only about halfway through the semester, but he makes it worth going to my 9am lecture. Such a great sense of humor, and he uses it to illustrate the topic well. I do agree with other comments: his exams are difficult, but just make sure to take good notes and actually STUDY what is taught
