Hard with a capital H! You will struggle, but you WILL learn. You can tell who had Dr. W when you get to 140 and 141. Those who did have a firm grasp on the algebraic concepts. Those who didn't ask the stupid questions that slow everybody down. It is much better to struggle in the Math 80's and do the HW, than to struggle in 140-141. Take him!!!

i love this guy!! he is the greatest math teacher i have ever had.. too bad hes retiring this year.. he will be back for part time.. so if you have the opportunity, Take him!.. you will learn so much from him and he is always willing to help you out.. this class is tough but hang in there.. its a great preparation for calculus!

Do the homework, go to office hours, study like crazy, and watch out for tricks on q's and t's. This guy is nice but tests and quizzes are rough! You will not do well without knowing the material. Very helpful if you ask, will ridicule you if you're to proud to get help at office hours. You WILL have an EXCELLENT basis for 140 after his classes! A+

This guy makes algebra hard! You think he's crazy until you get to 140, then you realize what it was all for. Do the homework if you want to pass! For questions, go to office hours, you will leave with understanding. Taking Dr. W. for 80's maths makes 140 easy in some ways. You will not pass his class unless you do the homework or get really lucky!

he screwed my class over last fall sem. after we all aced his first exam by making the second one rediculously hard. he only gives 2 tests worth 1/2 your grade and a final for the other half. no room for screw ups at all in his classes.
