If you seriously want to learn actionscript and flash programming, don't take her. If you want to pass a class, take her. Simple as that! The projects that I did were very stupid, and it didn't live up to the real working experience. It is better to just look up the tutorial online or learn it yourself by reading a book.

This teacher is the most unhelpful I have ever had. She just gives test and grades them 3 weeks later. She will do her best not to help you. When you ask a question she doesn't explain, rather just says if your right or wrong. If you want to learn something do not have this professor.

Professor Bass was great! She is very organized and good at teaching beginning programmers. She was always willing to answer my questions and help with other projects I was working on. She was also inspiring to me-- there are so few women in CS. I left her course enjoying programming and feeling more confident about continuing my CS education.

this class uses flash to teach the principles of multimedia. my advice would be to take it in the graphics department. this is a lecture class and you have to do all your lab homework on your own time. plus there is a ton of reading.

It is unbelievable that a person with this little knowledge on a subject can get a faculty position. Especially in computer science. She doesn't even know the difference between HTML and PHP. You're probably a better programmer than her.

Boring, not very knowledgeable, thank god she is going on sabbatical so she won't be inflicted on anymore students. If you want to prepare for the next class in programming, don't take a class from her. The only saving grace is that the book is good.

Disorganized, not knowledgeable or even interested in the subject, too rigid, switches assignments at the last minute, fudges lectures, and can't write a test to save her life. The only reason anyone learned anything is because the book was good.
