Comment:

I took Dana's Theatre Arts 100 class. After taking her class, she is now one of my new favorite teachers. She is super caring and understanding, and she allows students to enjoy acting at their comfort level, not forcing anyone to act in front of the class. Her class helped me to grow a deeper love for the theatre department and for many plays.

Wow, this professor is amazing. Truly cares about the well being of her students inside and outside of class. Dana is such an inspirational, caring, and passionate professor. I could not recommend taking her class enough. I am not an outgoing person and I was terrified of taking acting, but now I am considering taking more acting classes!

She is super nice and is really passionate about the subject! The class is an easy A, and I would take her again for any theatre or acting class. She is just a little disorganized and to this day she never responded to my email!!

Dana is a sweetheart! Makes the material accessible even if it's not your thing, so long as you open yourself up to caring. Read/responded to lots of plays with interesting themes & learned about key facets of theater: acting, direction, costumes, lighting, sound, etc. Fun group work; gets everyone loosened up. Would love to work with her again.

There are 2 tests , 2 critique papers where you go watch a play, reading assignments, and a final group presentation. Sounds like a bit of work but it's really simple and straightforward! She's really nice I would definitely recommend her !

We did warm ups and its a GREAT way to start off if you have never done acting. I'm pretty shy but she encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone. This class is definitely a good way to start if you have no experience or if you would like to experiment.

Super easy class, you only really need to go to the first few when she takes attendance or when theres a sub. There are two critiques but they are super easy. We had one test that was an in class oral exam. Super Easy grade booster class

Don't get me wrong, I like Dana. I just wish I was challenged a little more in her class, and that we stayed focused and got everything on the syllabus done, which we didn't. I don't feel like we learned as much as we could have. I would have liked a little more individual attention, direction, and honest critique on areas for improvement.

Dana Case is a great professor. She is full of energy and love what she is doing. Most assignments are easy (read a play, answer a couple of questions, and turn in the paper on the next class meeting). We did a lot of group work, so be prepared to mingle with other students.

I LOVED DANA!!! She is by far my favorite professor at Palomar!!! I can't say enough good things about her. I needed help with a monolouge I was using and she would sit in her car until one of my classes i was in was over and help me with it. She cares so much about no only her students, but just actors in general. I absolutly adore her!!!!

Very nice lady, easy class. If you have been in theater before, it's a bit boring so you have to muddle through it, but if you have/make friends in the class, it's really great. 1 major project and a few simple tests. Just show up and you'll do great!

Very easy class to pick up and understand because she explains everything thoroughly. She hands out a study guide before every exam that is based on class notes, so exams should be easy. Final project is fun and she will guide you through it. You'll be required to visit 1 play & 1 musical to pass the class. Easy A

Took class in summer. Very easy class to pick up and understand. Teacher hands out study guide that is based on class notes, so exams should be easy. Final project is fun and simple to do. seriously it only took me 1 hour and 3 hours to make it look nice. Required to visit 1 play & 1 musical to pass the class. She will throw an A in your face.
