This Professor has the most vague, poorly written directions on assignments that I have ever witnessed. Not only are the directions difficult, she doesn't grade you on those, and creates a separate rubric you have to go through, and make changes after completing assignments. You'll be banging your head against the wall trying to do it.

Dana has a wealth of knowledge from industry and years of teaching experience. While it may take a few assignments to get used to her style of teaching and assignment expectations you will get the hang of it. If you follow her clearly outlined instructions and actively participate in her classes you will learn a wealth of knowledge!

This professor is impossible, she has to be the most vague professor Tech has ever employed. She grades on two different sets of criteria, the one she posts for the assignment and the one she grades you on. Avoid course with this teacher by all means if possible.

Not only are her quiz's wording confusing, so is every form of communication. Her rubrics change after submitting the assignment and are also unclear. She will not regrade assignments, no extra credit, and says she doesn't look at anyone's grade until after the semester. She lacks many professional skills and communication with engineering students

If it wasn't for the fact that the class and material itself was easy to learn by reading the book alone I would have never passed. She is on top of grading and responding back to you quickly but couldn't lead a horse to water if there was a lake right in front of her. Easy class, optional final. She definitely can be nitpicky with group work and presentations, but once you find what she likes it's easy to get a grade. Don't afraid to go to her office hours if she goes too fast in class. End of the day she knows what she is talking about and does prepare you for the real world.

The powerpoint doesnt help at all cause it just copy from the book directly. She also went too fast in class. Group work is graded picky and her comment was soooo MEAN! And be prepared as got only half point of presentation. Overall, if you can switch, do it this moment!

She was rather clueless about the program used in the class too, seemed faster to search google than to ask her a question. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Any interest you have in this subject she will promptly beat out of you with copious amounts of homework and boring lectures. Expect to do an average of 10-12 hrs of homework a week. Text book is horrible, exams are tough. There are much better proffs teaching this.

She overuses PPT slides, but she's very good at explaining things. Her exams are straightforward and she allows a sheet of notes for formulas and such. Attendance is mandatory, but there is a nice bit of bonus points for perfect attendance, so it is worth it to show up. Homework is collected, but worth enough points to make it worth your while.
