Easily the most engaging professor I've had at State. Cracks a lot of jokes. Material isn't bad by any means; some of the concepts are tricky at first, but you'll ultimately get the hang of everything. Homework isn't super hard or time consuming.

One of my favorite classes in college. It's easy to pay attention because he jokes around a lot. I learned a ton of things too, and he's great about responding to the forum when you need help.

Lasher is extremely responsive outside of class. You can easily get an A in this class if you do the practice exams and start your projects early. Attendance not required for lecture, notes all provided, but he's hilarious. It's worth going to his class. One of the best professors in the department.

Fantastic teacher. Lectures are entertaining, and he's incredibly helpful if you have questions. I found the tests to be very difficult (easy to make mistakes). Most of your grade comes from tests, so make sure you start studying more than 1-2 days before the exams.

You get daily clicker quizzes but they're all open notes from the last lecture. You get three major programming projects and two major tests, but none of them are hard if you know the basics.

Best professor I have ever had. He is absolutely hilarious in the classroom and extremely understandable. Projects never took longer than a day to complete. Grades are calculated instantly. Very generous late work policy. Tests are multiple choice, open note. He posts his class notes online, which are extremely well written and very helpful.

Very fun lectures most of the time; the material (i.e., assembly) means that you need to know a lot of specific things, so you'll become fairly well-acquainted with the notes.

Lasher is hilarious. No attendance is taken, but his lectures have been some of my favorite of undergraduate. The guy is endless entertainment. More importantly, he absolutely knows his stuff. The one time I ever found myself stuck, I sent him an email and he replied with helpful information in under half an hour.

Don't judge a book by its cover! Mr. Lasher may look like a conservative old man, but he's absolutely hilarious, gives entertaining lectures, and gives fair open-book tests. Submit the homeworks early to get extra credit! Getting 100% efficiency is extremely challenging and is often worth 30-40% of the homework grade. Overall terrific professor!

Lectures are fun and informative, but beware lest you think this is a programming class. It isn't. It's an arithmetic class. Does doing hexadecimal division without a calculator sound like fun? If not, take ECE 109 instead. The tests (70% of grade) are OpScan multiple choice. No partial credit. Programming assignments are boring and uninspired.

Lasher's class was extremely easy; simply do your rarely assigned homework, and work on your FEDD project throughout the semester. Mr. Lasher aids his discussion of engineering with comical videos, which increases student interest. He is also very helpful with his feedback from the milestones required in class.
