though i hear her public speaking skills are better, she was one of the worst professors in terms of clarity. she was so awkward that i felt sorry for her obvious discomfort leading a class. perhaps time has helped her classroom style (i took classes with her four years ago), but she had nowhere to go then but up.

Horrible teaching style. I never understood what she was talking about, so I often stopped trying and used class time as a study period/ nap time instead.

She is utterly brilliant. She seemed like she would be a hard person to have a personal relationship with but I liked her a lot. Her ability to form complex thoughts and communicate them flawlessly left me in awe. And she does the cutest daintiest thing with her hand while she's thinking!

luciano is great. I took three classes with her because she really knows her stuff. Plus there is the added bonus of the end of the semester dinners she would have for the class. She's also an amazing cook!
