Wow I had her as a professor in fall of 2006 at Eastern Michigan, I can't believe she's gone. She was so damn funny, and knew her stuff very well. I still catch myself telling people stuff that she said back when I had her as a teacher. She was a very outspoken person, but you could tell she had a big heart.

for those of you who wondered why she was hired in the 1st place? I encourage you to do a Google search entering her name to see why. Her credentials & experience speak for itself! She taught me 4 yrs ago; I still have extensive notes from her lectures which I reference currently! Friends until her death,she has my UTMOST respect & love always!!!

cancer in June 2007(with life expectancy from 2wks to 3mths @ the time), has passed away October 22nd this year. I'm not telling you this for your sympathy but rather, to be open-minded enough to understand that professors are human too! While some wrote her off as being lazy, she had no choice but to cancel lots of classes due to the cancer! And..

This class is a very easy class. I don't even like Political Science and she made this class interesting.Oh yeah, she gives out answers to the test. But she also explains them after she gives them to you. She will also come off as loud and crazy but yet she is really good teacher.

i thought she was a great teacher, we had a great relationship. I think she is the best teacher i have had, even throughout highschool. Shes easy to talk to. I would recommend taking her if you want to have great conversations in class and someone that is great to talk to as well

Prof. Washington has a bubbly personality. She allows you to think outside the box when it comes to government. She makes class exciting, mostly lecture is really just discussions. Tests are easy, but she expects you to know your stuff, and don't complain if you didn't do good, esp. if you didn't attend lectures before the test. Don't buy the book.

An easy "A". I have this class right now. We're having a test soon. She gave us a list of 50 questions and the test is going to be 25 of those 50 questions, all I have to do is memorize mult choice questions. Shes a bit of a crazy woman though, and you won't learn anything.

I had no interest in gov't at all, but I loved her class. You don't really need the book to get an A in this class, but she will tell you its required and will call on random people on her role and ask about a term you were supposed to read about. She's totally hilarious and knows what she's talking about. Highly recommended!

INSANELY EASY!! I was floored when she started rattling off the answers DURING the test after she had already given us the questions and answers well in advanced. We didn't use the book once but i WOULD suggest showing up for class. I never got one piece of hw and there is usually only 2 test with 10 questions. THis class is a breeze!
