Professor Soto is a solid choice! He reviews material from previous class and answers any questions you have which should have you set for the quizzes. You don't really need to buy the textbook. He uploads all the material to Canvas. Make sure you study and it will be an easy A! He is a great professor and I learned a lot!

Absolutely loved this class and the professor. There were two midterms and a final, and he reviewed before every exam. Professor Soto is a caring, hilarious professor who explains material clearly and readily answers any questions you may have. Participate as much as you can, study before every class (theres quizzes), and have homework completed.

Great Professor, only grades you on three tests so studying for those tests is a must. Homework isn't graded. I got the textbook but he has pdf's of the specific lessons on Canvas so it's not necessary. Try your best to participate because he's such a good teacher and there's a sense of guilt when he asks a question and no one answers.

professor Soto is great! he really is a genuinely caring person who wants his students to truly learn the correct form of speaking Spanish. he's funny too. the class in entirely in Spanish, which shouldn't come as a surprise since it's for Spanish speaking students. As long as you apply yourself, you will do well. take him!

Profesor Soto talks from the time the class starts to the very end. Even though he didn't give us breaks, he is entertaining and so the class goes by quick. His test are exactly like the homework. If there is a material that your having trouble with he will go over it until everyone gets it.

Even though he's every students worst nightmare because he's a tough professor, you actually learn. I was always going up and down on grades but at the end still got my A. He makes u work 4 it but if your trying and he knows trust me! He'll pass you. He's very sweet and adorable but he's the weed remover of the spanish department Go 4 it! tests 14

Im a native speaker and i gotta say this was a hard class. Pay attention and study for his quizes EVERY class and youll do fine. I learned so much in one semester. Hes great at explaining things and hes ALWAYS willing to help. He was a very nice guy, just dont fool around in his class. Make sure you stay focused. Anything he says can be on a quiz.

This is a difficult class. It is absolutely necessary to study a lot outside of class and read the lecture guides that he gives. The whole class is in Spanish and be prepared to learn a lot of info at once. Its very general grammar but he looks for specifics. Many pop quizzes.

This class is by far one of the hardest classes that I have ever taken. He can be nice at times. But, he is very moody. The content is difficult. Do not take if you don't like Spanish. You will have to work hard. 10 quizzes, 2 exams, and a final. It's hard and he's a tough professor. Study a lot. Tough, tough, tough class and professor.
