I love how easy to understand Professor Bennett makes the Information. If people ask a question about a problem he will go back over the problem and at least one more like it. I have now taken three classes with him and tell anyone who needs to take math to go with his classes.

Comment:

Best math teacher. Very clear about what will be on the test, so if you can do a practice problem you will have no issue. I appreciated him offering to give extra problems for us to work on and we could ask him if we needed help. I SUCK at math and I did well in this class---You have to come to class though!!

Professor Bennett made an obscure topic understandable. I used his office hours a lot; this was key to success for me. He was always there to assist. This was a test-based course, so you must be on your game. Don't skip class! Be familiar with the graphing calculator prior to starting the course; he won't spend time with a tutorial. Great prof!

Comment:

Finally, a math teacher that can explain problems in a way that makes sense!! You MUST study, do your homework, attend class, and ask questions. He is one of the very few teachers that is actually available in his office during office hours and will help students with practice problems. Hands down the best teacher at MU.

Statistics is a hard class, but he is an awesome professor. He's super down to earth, and he does everything he can to help his students succeed. As long as you go to class and do the homework, you will do well in the class.

Applied Statistics was difficult for me to understand. I am not very good at math. He gives a primer that really helped me understand what we are doing. I recommend him for anyone needing this class. Best dressed professor on campus.

He is amazing. Stats is a difficult subject. Especially when the class is asking dumb questions. He does a great job of applying it to the every day world to help you understand. I had him for college algebra and he is the best math professor on campus!!!

I took Bennett's 8 a.m. class in both the fall and spring semester. Nothing has changed. He still breaks down the information and explains it clearly. This is not a hard course once you study and go to tutoring. I recommend all freshman to take this course. Good luck

I was not looking forward to taking this class, but Dr. Bennett was a great teacher, he took his time to explain things and pass on his knowledge he is a very smart, open minded person.
