Mr. I is a horrible teacher. I found that I was teaching myself more material than he was covering in class. He would let us out early and ask us to read chapters that he could have gone over in class but instead, he decided to just go over homework. The tests cover so much information that if you miss one class, you're screwed. Save yourself

I would never take him as a professor again, I don't learn anything from his lectures and he lets us out of class way before the normal ending time. He expects you to read and understand the book before class and you have homework due every class. His tests are extremely hard and he grades everything harshly.

Everything you'd expect an accounting professor to be, very dry, no emotion. Occasionally takes attendance, gives terrible lectures. Assigns large amounts of homework, but only takes it up half the time. Be prepared to teach yourself the material, he's also a very tough/particular grader.

Dr. I is a sweet guy, however i did not feel that he did a good job of explaining the material. His tests are hard, and there are only two before the final. I struggled to maintain a C in the class, then used a different teachers study guide for the standardized final and got a 95....

I was kinda surprised to see that Dr. I had such bad reviews. His class is very dry but he does a very good job at explaining the topics, and going through examples. Would definitely recommend. Easy A when you do the homework and go to class.

Worst professor so far. Terrible at explaining things and literally yells at you when you ask questions and makes you feel like an idiot. I feel like he hates his job and doesn't want to be here. also, if you miss 3 classes all semester he lowers your final grade one FULL LETTER GRADE.

I am a senior studying account and through my previous 17 years of education. This man is without a doubt the very last one at the bottom of the list. From mumbling stuff that you can not understand, to when you ask questions and he YELLs at you like youre an idiot. I have tried to ask him questions both in class and in his office and it never help

You are going to need to teach yourself. He is a smart guy, but cannot teach. I graduated from UNCW and his class was hands down the worst part of my college experience. Make time to teach yourself and study with other students if you want to be successful.

Dr I is almost impossible to avoid if you an ACG major. He loves to mumble, so I hope you enjoy sitting in the front row. He spends class time doing of the homework for you (which removes one of your best opportunities to learn the material) and explains conceptual material poorly at best. His first 302 test was my first failing grade in college.

Dr. I embodies the reason I don't want to get my Master's at UNCW. The school has a problem hiring people who actually want toare able to teach. I feel like the whole accounting dept. exists for their own benefit and not that of the students. Expect terribly boring lectures, confusing quizzes and exams, and a semester-long headache

Honestly, I would take any other professor for this class. He knows the material and is willing to help if you seek him out but his teaching style is not amazing. It is necessary to read all of the chapter before he teaches (works through homework problems) or else you will be completely confused.

He tries to help, but just doesn't get through. Would be great if UNCW hired a professor who could teach. Get ready to teach yourself the material.

Horrible teaching style. A very dull and lethargic man that doesn't teach much of anything in the class. His examples in class are HELPFUL though. Not good with face-to-face communication. Very depressing aura about him. Doesn't announce quizzes, just hands them out. Difficult to achieve an A, maybe even impossible.

Before I took this class, I heard that it was the most difficult accounting class that I would take. That is correct. The material is tough. Dr. I is very smart and he shows it. Sometimes he just explains concepts verbally and not visually and it can get difficult to follow. Do all the homework and quizzes. Make good study sheets for tests.

Dr. Ivancevich is a wonderful teacher! I've had him for 201 & 301, both classes are very similar. Homework every class but it's not hard & is only graded on effort. Quizzes are take home. Tests can be difficult but if you have any questions he will gladly take the time to explain anything! Highly recommended!

Great teacher! Does not try to purposefully fail students-this is just hard material. Always answers questions and explains when you don't understand. Homework is graded on effort not correctness. Gives quizzes you do at home. Definitely take Dr. I for any accounting class.

Awful, just awful. I loved accounting until this class. He thinks the accounting program is too difficult and tries vigorously to fail students on purpose. Take this class with anyone else.

I would recommend him to anyone who's going to take ACG! 3 chapters/test. He gives plenty of notes. Homework due every day, but as long as you attempt all problems you get a 100. Quizzes every now & then that you take home and aren't due until the next class period. Extremely helpful if you have questions. He really wants his students to do well!

He is a great professor! this Every class is a lecture- can get boring but he covers everything. Always willing to answer questions. MUST GET THE BOOK!! Def need to show up to most of the classes and go to most of the classes. He loves to randomly take up homework and quiz the first couple months of classes but after that he quits.
