He's great! Will typically remind you or update you on assignments in class and will only send emails when he will be canceling class that day. Not many assignments and tests. I hope I'll be able to take another one of his classes sometime, Dr. Dan was awesome!

He is a wonderful person, and is the best speech teacher. I would take him and this class again. It does take him a while to grade speeches, and I did not find out what I got wrong on one of his tests because he never handed them out. Take this class with him!

He is a great guy, very nice and understandable if you are sick or need to be gone. His tests are hard, just make sure you study. He is a hard grader on your speech outline but gives great feedback and tells you exactly what you need to fix! I recommend him for speech.

Great professor! He made a speech class less nerve racking. Used examples during lectures which made concepts easy to understand. Tests are kind of hard though so I would study for them. Tough grader on the outlines but he will read them before being turned in. Not super strict and a super funny guy! Easy grading on actual speeches!

Dan made speech at 8 am interesting! He makes his lectures interesting by giving real life examples of everything. There are only 2 tests in his class, if you study the power point slides that he puts on d2l you will do fine on them. The final is a improv speech but don't stress about it, it is more for fun than for a grade.

It's hard to get an A in this class, but Dan is a good professor to take if you hate public speaking. There are two exams that are super easy if you attend class and review his PowerPoints. Put in effort to your speech outlines; he nitpicks these more than your actual speech.

Dr. Dan is by far my favorite professor I have had so far at WSU. He makes class fun and more interesting, making me want to show up. There is attendance, a few exams, papers, and a group project. All have been pretty easy so far and is very helpful with everything. I highly recommend taking classes with him.

I'm not a big fan of speeches, but Prof Lintin made this class one of my favorites. We only had about 6 speeches, and 2 tests. If you follow the notes and speech criteria you're good to go.

Dr. Dan was hands down my favorite professor this semester. Lectures were entertaining and he rarely held class for the entire period. He made a seemingly boring topic fun and entertaining.

Really good guy that tries to keep class interesting. The only problem is that the information isn't interesting. Would recommend to anyone because he is kind and good at working things out with students.

Very nice teacher! If you try on your speeches and put at least some effort forth you will receive at least a C on every speech. Only showed up to class every now and then and received a B for a grade. Easy teacher! Take him!

Dr. Dan is one of those "great person, not-so-great-professor" types. He has a way of taking potentially really interesting content and making it very boring. I enjoyed how easy his classes were as an underclassman but now that I really want to learn and get involved I'm frustrated by his surface-level courses.
