Comment:

Robots class was a ginormous timesink (forget spring break), but also a lot of fun, and good practice working in small groups. You're pretty much on your own and have to solve sometimes very challenging problems with laughable computing resources. Mosse's got a great attitude and does his best to make it a chill class for burnt-out seniors.

I thought I was really going to enjoy the class for the first couple of lectures: he's really funny! If you don't know how or have little experience programming this class will be very hard for you. His lectures were very unclear and he didn't even seem to know how to use Alice (a main part of the course). Very badly organized!!

Hysterical. Even if you hate CS, you'll love him. The class wasn't too structured, and we definitely spent too long on Alice and not long enough on Java, but overall I enjoyed it. I could probably be convinced to take another course for the sole reason that he was the professor. Once we finally got into Java this course was really informative.

He kept class upbeat, but then didn't teach enough about CS. No syllabus, then class wasn't very structured, which made it hard to get through some classes. I went through this whole class and I haven't taken anything from it - would have been better off just skipping this and saving my money.

Extremely difficult class. This is "the o-chem of computer science." Mosse is a great guy (hence the teaching awards he wins) but the projects are graded harshly. But there's good news: the curve must've been phenomenal, so just do a little better than average and you'll be fine.

For the first few weeks of class, he will seem like the coolest professor you could ever imagine having. But once the projects and especially his exams (some of the hardest i ever had in college) start kicking your ass, youll wish you never met him, trust me.
