Teaching CS 0441 is a thankless job, but "Patch" is a good guy, and a dedicated teacher, and made it as enjoyable as it possibly could be. Thumbs up. As for his accent: He sounds exactly like Kahn on "King of the Hill".

it's the most boring class I ever had!!! He is not a good teacher! I emailed him about the final grade twice,he neither replied nor was in his office!!! as other poeple said, don't expect to learn anything, you only study for your grade!!! Avoid him if you can !!!

I loved havaing Patch as a teacher. He is one of my favorite of all time. He gives practice exams that strongly resemble his real exams. If you don't do well he is very helpful in office hours. I reccomend him all the time.

Yes, he can speak English well enough and his accent is not that bad. However, he has NO ACTUAL LECTURES, all he did was give examples, and never actually went over the concepts. He locks his door during his office hours. Overall, he may be one of the worst professors I've had so far, and that is saying something.
