Ok, I've heard really bad things about this guy, I didn't see it. He just really enjoys financial management. YOU'VE GOT TO STUDY, this material isn't easy, and there is a lot of it. Do the HW and do all the extra credit you can. 1st test is just TVM so learn to use your calculator backwards and forwards.

basically you are supposed to learn how to do it outside of class and ask him questions on the work he doesn't show you how to do. He then tests you with problems that are nothing like the homework.

If you're lazy then you aren't going to do well. A teacher that allows up to 40% of your grade to be calculated via homework and quizzes (homework 30% and quizzes 10%) is super gracious. He also provided extra credit work. There's really no excuse to do poorly in this class.

Dr. Pace isn't as bad as everyone makes him seem to be. Yes, he can be "lazy" during lectures, but that's what helps you; you have questions on homework/quizzes, he will do the problems for you. 40% of your grade is homework/quizzes, you do well, you pass.

I am currently taking good class and every week is a new frustration. His tests are not too hard, but his Aplia assignments are hard. Half the formulas are not in the book. Trying to take his class with a full-time class schedule and job is near impossible. Be ready to spend 3 hours on an assignment and repeat 9 times a week.

His test are easy because he gives a hint of what is going to be on the test. The Aplia is 40% of your grade, and if you work on Aplia assignment you can get an easy A. You don't need the book, because chapters are in Aplia and you will learn a lot from doing your Aplia.

He does not respond to emails and that is essential when you are in a ONLINE class. He doesn't grade test in a timely matter either. We took the first test over a month ago and he still has yet to give us our grades back. Homework is ridiculously time consuming. Wish he had clearer videos too and sometimes none whatsoever.

Dr. Pace is a great professor and I really enjoyed his in class section. He gives you exactly what's going to be on the test and what you need to know. A professor giving out his cell phone number and allowing you to text or call anytime really says a lot about his character. He may not spoon feed you through the course but he is more than helpful.

I have just finished my final exam for Dr. Pace. Dr. Pace has a habit of giving you questions on the exam that were never part of the homework, quizzes, or most shockingly the "sample" test. Long Story short.."A" effort/intelligence won't get you an "A".

Took online. Homework/ Quizzes are online through Alphia its a lot of work. You have 3 times to do the homework so do the first one then you can print it out and it gives you step by step directions on how to do it for the 2nd try. Keep the print outs for the quizzes. tests are very hard! 50% of whats on the sample test is actually on the test.

Pointless to go to class. He thinks he is funny and cool but he over-uses the same joke about tab everyday(terrible soda). Goes over aplia but skips to the answers, doesn't teach it. Hard tests, lots of hw you don't know how to do. Take another teacher if you can.

This online course if very challenging. I felt the hw, quiz and test were not lined up for success. I hate the aplia website. It takes me hours to do the notes, hw, quiz and test. I spend all my time studying for this course and I have 3 other classes that have been neglected. Pace is a great guy though. I wish I would have taken it in class

I took this class online. We used a homework system called Aplia which is easy to operate. Any time I had a question and emailed Professor Pace I was quick to receive a response. Glad that I took his class because I tried with a different professor and failed in a prior semester.

Dr. Pace is a very knowledgeable professor. He is very helpful if you need help. Complaints I have: Class is really an Online class using Aplia. Class is useless. Test for FIN4414 are REALLY HARD. Do all your Aplia assignments and do them well. They will save you even if you Fail a test.

Pace is a good teacher. All the people before are a bunch of babies who don't want to do the Aplia. Yeah it's not fun, but it does help if you USE it! Instruction time with Pace is minimal, but use Aplia wisely and you will do very well.

I owe my academic career to Professor Pace. I took Finance 3 times, and I finally passed once I decide to take Pace. If it weren't for my 98.5% on Aplia, I wouldn't have passed because my Mid term and Final averaged a "D". Professor Pace went above and beyond to help me earn a passing grade.
