Good prof. Clear lectures, helpful at explaining the formulas and such. Willing to slow down if needed. Participation helps because if you get it wrong you learn from it. Awesome person.

His intro course is broad, but he shows an excellent handle on the material. He's willing to clarify and involve the class at any time. His lecture notes can help you a lot if you have trouble with the readings, and he gives generous grades on the papers as long as you show you can think and present an argument. Brilliant man.

Kostroman is a great prof who really really cares about his students. The course material isn't very easy but he does a good job at explaining it. He is very clear about what he expects from his students and I really appriciate the handout he gave in regards to the structure of the test that we had. It even include tips on how to do well.

Wonderful professor. Incredibly passionate about the material and caring towards his students. Everyone loves him, even if the course material was difficult for them, they still adore him. I don't think he realises how much everyone appreciates and loves him- as he's very smart & caring. But he puts himself down a lot. He deserves so much more.

one of the best profs I've had. He does a really good job of making sure everything is explained well, he is a very fair marker and will give marks just for showing that you tried. He offers extra class help, he has office hours, he even pushed back the test. The content is not easy, but if you do the homework and attend class you'll do fine.

Tony is by far the best prof I ever had at Glendon. He makes his lectures very engaging even if the subject isn't. He's a fair grader and he's always available during his office hours, great sweaters. However, most of all, he was the single most caring and personally attentive prof I've ever had. The Glendon experience isn't complete without Tony.

This guy is probably in the top 5 best prof in all of Glendon. I really don't like philosophy but Tony made it really interesting and our in class discussions were some of the most fun I've had in any course. Excellent guy as well, very kind, funny, intelligent and a fair marker with specific criteria and is always there for aspiring students.

Amazing prof!!! So nice! Lectures can be long.. but he is aware of that and tries to make it as interesting as possible or make it go faster. Tough class but he always manages to help students get the best grade possible! He is always willing to go out of his way to help a student out. Definitely take a class with him! You won't regret it

Students LOVE him! If you do all your homework and readings you might find he spends too much time explaining concepts but if not he takes the time to thoroughly explain everything, ensure everyone understands and to answer questions. No question is honestly too stupid to him. He answers all questions in depth. Takes up all tests.

Professor Kostroman is a machine. The quantity and quality of his notes and lectures respectively allow a student to grasp the topics at hand. However, one must attend class, the content is none the less weighty. If a student is lost, he is always willing to take the time to explain. I left his class enlightened and far less bias about the mind.

Tony was a great, friendly prof. He's kinda nerdy which is really cute and funny but he explains things well. Philosophy can be confusing sometimes and he makes it more palatable through analogies and examples as well as diagrams. He learns everyone's name in the class and is a fair marker.

If you've never taken philosophy before, i would not recommend taking it with this teacher. He is hard to follow during lectures, he wants you to ask question but your question will be "Could you repeat the whole lecture?" The teacher is very respectable, has a great personality, always there for the student, but it can he can be hard to follow.

Professor Kostroman is one of the nicest profs I've had so far. He also did an admirable job of making logic semi interesting. His lectures are clear and comprehensive and he will patiently answer any and all questions you may have. He also goes out of his way to help students on his own time. Truly one of the most caring professors out there.

He is an amazing teacher both in class and in extra help sessions. He was extremely clear and open to answering all questions. He offered extra help sessions multiple times, always staying for at least 3-4 hours even when he was sick. It is clear that he really cares about his students and their work. It was a hard course but he made it enjoyable.
