One of the best literature professors on campus. He is very funny and very well respected. For his class, you'll read modern novels and graphic novels. I'm normally not the type to enjoy what I read, but his picks are really good! Took him as an 8am course and didn't mind attending his class one bit because of his personality. Highly recommend.

Pinti's classes are extremely interesting, with a great selection of books that are studied. Class is mandatory but most of the time are very interesting, and Pinti has a great sense of humor. Tests are not too difficult if studied for, but he is a tough paper grader. Overall a great class.

This professor is very tough to have a proper conversation or discussion with. He admits to putting words in your mouth and he answers everything with sarcasam. Very frustrating class. The work isn't an issue, just a very condescending professor.

I love my class with Dr. Pinti. He is so enthusiastic, even though my class is at 8:10 I could never fall asleep hearing his excitement for whatever we're learning about. Extremely easy as long as you participate and pay attention to what he says in class. All 3 books we read were graphic novels. He makes an effort to get to know each student.

Pinti's class is amazing because he's so passionate about the material he teaches, and he always finds a way to work a few jokes into his lectures. Anyone who can make an hour and 20 minutes of Chaucer constantly interesting has a gift. His tests aren't hard as long as you know the material, so do the readings and pay attention and you'll do well!

I seriously cannot express how much I hate my English class with Dr. Pinti. He is extremely rude. He does not care about actually teaching the material. He only teaches it for his benefit of doing something he likes. MY class told him we were feeling overwhelmed with the material and he pretty much told us oh well your problem.I woud not recommend.

Dr. Pinti plays favorites horribly, and I unfortuantly was not one of them. I did my work and all the reading, which there is TONS and still did not get the grade I felt I had earned. I took two classes with him and they were both boring. I had a hard time staying awake. I would recommend only taking this professor if he is your only choice.

He claimed the first day of class that there won't be a lecture class. GUESS WHAT? THAT IS ALL HE DOES. So boring. Bring a pillow and a blanket, just take a nap. He is a great guy but boring! You won't need to read because he quotes every line in detail from the readings. I guess this is a pretty easy class overall.

He's intelligent and it's a little amusing how he tries so hard not to offend anyone. And the class is fairly easy if you do the work. He tells you what to study for the exams. Class discussions are usually very boring, but if you participate a little, he's satisfied.

He was a very good professor, namely because he is so passionate and knowledgeable about the topics. He is eager to answer questions to the best of his abilities too. The tests can be a bit hard, but he answers lots of questions before them so really its how well you take advantage of that. Definitely would take him again!

I suggest taking any classes possible with this prof. Not only is he excited about teaching, passionate, and engaging, but he is also extremely knowledgable about his subject area. One of the best teachers I have ever encountered. I look forward to taking more classes with him in the future!
