Knows his stuff. Kind of teaches too fast, but if you can keep up you get a lot out of the class. Really looks out for students and if he sees you're struggling, he will try his best to help you. Definitely recommend taking his class.

Dr B is amazing. He shows nothing but compassion for his students and an interest in helpin them. I am so sorry to transfer, because I know I will miss this prof. He is amazing. If you are interested in a language, he is the man to see. He is, by far, the most amazing teacher I have ever had the pleasure of learning a language from.

My favorite professor that I have ever had on the NU campus. Extremely intelligent and he cares about his students, the subject matter and will always include outside information to help you out. I highly recommend taking any class with him. If you are a slacker, don't take a class with him, simply because you won't appreciate him.

He adds interesting extra information to the class, making it a lot easier to go to. As long as you do the reading, participate in class discussions, and do the assignments, you'll be fine. LOVE his class. you have to study, but he has the LEAST boring class, he gets you involved in everything french, not just boring grammar and vocab. very personable and friendly. Also, he throws in those random and outside the book vocab and phrases that you wonder about.. makes your french more 'usable'
