Tries to explain things in an abstract way that makes it more confusing. You only get a good grade if you can do things exactly the same way that he does them... That's not how math works. On top of that, he grades super subjectively. So unless he really likes you, you're going to be graded harshly. Several of my classmates felt the same way.

He can explain, but he tries to get you to figure things out and prove them to each other so that you can learn better. Classes are structured, but allow time to explore student questions while still covering all important material. There are daily quizzes with reading/quizlet vocab to study, but it helps in learning the thms, (have to memorize).

He is a wonderful professor! He made class interesting and cared so much about his students. He always made sure everyone understood the material before moving on and made going to class very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Siebert is amazing. I really enjoyed the class, and think that he did a great job explaining the concepts. He is always willing to help if students need it. I recommend him for any math class. He has a good sense of humor. The material isn't very difficult, and if you find it hard there is plenty of ways you can get help.

Dr. Siebert is an amazing teacher. His area of study is math education, so teaching is what he knows best. Linear algebra is not a very difficult subject. Dr. Siebert is very willing to help and explains concepts very well. I definitely recommend him. He is one of the best teachers I have had.

He is a good teacher that knows how to explain the basics. If you are a student without a math background he would be the teacher for you. He knows how to keep the concepts simple. I had a hard time with him because my level was above where he was at. I would have to say he works really well with his stdents and whats the best for them.

Excellent teacher who not only knows his material, but knows how to teach it as well. Classes were well organized and helpful. He definitely made a tough classes easier to tolerate.

Absolutely amazing. No one can make math seem so simple the way he can. He always makes time to help his students. He even spent two hours with a few of us the afternoon before the final. If you need to really understand math, take it from Dr. Siebert.

Great teacher, explains things so well. I do have one word of caution though, look out for the final, brutal. Study for concepts (theorems, etc.) on that test. Great teacher.

I have to agree with what everyone has said and say he has been the best math teacher i have had. I rated the class as a 3 in easiness not because it required little thinking and work but because he explained things so well and was always avaiable for help sessions. Look no further for a 343 teacher.

Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. He makes sure everybody understands before moving on. He will even spend half a class period going over previous day's HW if we need him to. Fun personality, can take a joke just as well as he can dish them out. I've taken tons of math classes, Siebert is easily the best.
