I absolutely hated this class. Walz gave the most unclear lectures I have ever seen. The power points he posts are useless and there is no textbook to fall back on for self-teaching. Enormous amounts of reading that are quizzed on (so you have to read it all). Tests are all free response questions that he doesn't clearly explain. HATED THIS CLASS!

Comment:

Easy class if you put in some effort. Makes you memorize everything now, but feels so bad about bad grades that he usually curves the tests. Monotonous due to going over every hw problem together and then straightforward powerpoints. Walz is the greatest!

Awesome Prof! Best teacher in my opinion at TU also Burr! Teaches us what you want to and will need to know in the real world. Test open book due to immense number of formulas but understandable. Take Him!

He was so disorganized! In trying to make the class "applicable to the real world", he actually spent most of the time talking about general concepts and not enough time applying it and teaching us to do the problems. Fun class, but didn't learn much.

I love this man! He is always so happy and excited to be teaching you. His passion really comes through his work, even through boring old statistics!!! Walz is WONDERFUL and everyone should take him. I knew nothing about stats and didn't want to, but he helped me through and I got an "A". I do miss his bow ties though!! Yeah Walz!

Dr. Walz is amazing! One of the best teachers at Trinity by far. He is very approachable and always willing to re-explain something if you're confused. He can be a little spacey sometimes and his handwriting is really bad, but he is still an amazing prof. My favorite business prof!

Helpful and sincere man. Knows everyone's names. Lets you use books and notes for exams--and has safety nets up the wazoo. Gives so many chances to do well. Not the best teacher though. Spent a few classes teaching us about graph aesthetics!(worthless) Obssessed with the box-and-wisker plot.
