The workload for this course was pretty steady throughout the whole term and she warns you about it. It's not necessarily hard, but it gets pretty tedious writing reports all the time. At least the groups are 6-8 people though, so that certainly helps. Midterm was easy enough; she let you choose which questions to answer.

Dana grew on me quite a bit as the semester progressed. She was quick to fix any hiccups that arose being the first time she's taught 265, and while learning C/Python with her was a bit rough at times, it's clear she cares a lot about her students succeeding in school and co-ops. Just be ready to read a lot of StackOverflow.

Dana might be a good researcher, but she needs to spend more time on lecture materials. What we did in the class was just following power points and taking some quizzes. Assignments are fine if you spend time on it. Since she doesn't teach this course frequently, avoid if you have options.

Daniela is totally unreasonable with the amount of time she thinks we have for her class. She sent us on field trips, but did not allow us to miss her class or labs and we had to schedule them ourselves. She also marked us on participation, attendance, and had pop quizzes. She is interesting, but its not worth it, avoid if possible.

Great prof, well spoken, strict but fair. CSC 375 is not structured like any course I have ever taken but it is a great learning experience with Dana. Be prepared to work in a 8 person team over the length of the semester.

Perfect amount of material - enough to learn, not overwhelming. Grade will depend on your team over term-long project (groups assigned, not chosen). Good expectations, great templates and TA's. Emphasis on thinking. Fair tests and midterms. I'll use Dana's methods for requirements specifications for years and years. Good stuff - great course.

We had to do a lot of blogging and we worked with students in Finland. It was a great experience i will never forget. This class prepared me for the real world and she was great at teaching it. Let us go with the flow and I really enjoyed the discussions

She is a spark from Romania with attitude, she teaches this course great and takes control of the classroom. Her slides and notes are awesome. This class also matters a lot if you are in a good group or not.

Great personality and really pretty. Unknowingly puts her foot in her mouth quite often though. Subject matters is pretty boring but she tries to keep it interesting with discussions and such. I liked the projects in this course. Be careful, there is a lot to do for the projects and deadlines seem to creep up on you. Marking (by the TA)is strict.

Egotistical. Disrespectful towards students -- Schedules meetings in her office and shows up late. I agree; if she hasn't read it in a textbook, it isn't valid. This indicates to me that she has no mastery of the material she is presenting.

She is a very good prof. She is pregnant so cut her some slack. Some of the stuff taught in class is obvious (i.e Fitts Law) but the design principle stuff is invaluable.
