Dr. Jenkins is cool, but apparently shes a tough grader. I had no idea what I had in the class until I saw my final grade. Theres no grades of any kind entered to show what you make on assignments so its hard to know how you did. I thought I did well on all the assignments and ended up with a B in the class.

legit hardest thing i have ever gone through. everything is up to the exams and theyre not formatted well for actual learning, just cramming. memorization is everything which is hard for a lot of students, esp when you have to memorize 40-50 facts and regurgitate them on a blank piece of paper.

Miss Jenkins is a very good teacher. She definitely requires that you work hard for your grade...so be sure to study really hard on your slides. They will make or break you on her exams. Tests are tough, but not impossible. I would recommend her.

She was quite dry, and the tests are almost all essay. But she does give you the whole test basically before hand as a study guide which is helpful. And she puts the part of the textbook you actually need on a cd and powerpoints online which is not something to take for granted. Go to class.

I don't know when Art History became a class in Evolution. Test were crazy difficult. She packed about a month of material into a week. She does not seem interested at all in whether or not her classes pass. Don't take anything from this teacher!

Tests are fairly difficult but she does give you ALL the information during the lecture. As long as you come to class and take detailed notes and study those notes really well, you will do fine. She comes off as VERY unfriendly, but she wise-cracks once in a while.

I heard horror stories about Jenkins before taking the class. Yes, you MUST take note, and you MUST go to class. Why? because you'll fail of you dont, seriously. I loved her class, and if you like Art History, i recommend her. I got an A...but not without some effort...namely going to class and taking notes.

Dr. Jenkins is very knowledgeable and gives a lot of information in class... but, she also tells the class from the beginning that attendance and notes are really important. If you pay attention, participate and take really good notes you should do okay in her class.

This was an extremely hard class, although I have come to appreciate Prof. Jenkins teaching skills since I have moved on to World Art 2. This woman knows her stuff, and the tests are hard. I was glad that when I took this class it was my only one at the time. Study hard and everything!!

If you are serious about this class and have an avid interest in the material, then Dr. Jenkins is an ideal teacher. It's true that her exams are difficult, but if you invest a little time, then it's really not a big deal. i think her harshness is just a way to weed out lazy, uninterested students.

I didnt like her class. Her essays were horrible and she wanted to know everything - even what the weather was like the day the temple was built - little BS like that. Avoid her classes if you can. Shes nice but she demands too much when she doesnt make an effort to meet you halfway.

Know random details like dimensions of pyramids for tests and expect to write down everything even if it's not asked. She wants you to spell terms correctly in essays even though she spells them wrong on the board herself! So boring! Passed this in high school with a 100 and I'm making a C now!
