Daniell is one of the best teachers in the theater department by far. She is caring, respected and knows her stuff. She will teach you all of the things you need to get out into the field as well as help you along the way. I recommend taking any of her classes and getting to know this awesome woman!

Very enegergetic and expects the same amount of enthusiasm from her students. She takes the class too seriously, is a strictler on attendance, and grades assignments harshly. The final is a group play that takes up loads of personal time and she expects perfection. I ended up doing 90% of the final myself. Class blows and I effing hated it.

She's a very enthusiastic teacher but she does expect a lot out of you for a lower division course. Yo're on stage a the time and she expects the best from you. So don't sign up for this class if you're shy! Also, she expects a lot of outside rehearsal time which can be hard No textbook and only 2 quizes. She's very outgoing and fun though!

She obviously likes some people more than others and gives them preferential treatment. A challenging course- a lot of outside rehearsals so don't take if you are too busy because it's time consuming. Shy reserved people-beware, you will be on stage. She expects a lot more than you would expect for such a basic level of theater, I don't recommend.

She definitely knows what she's talking about and is very enthusiastic about theatre. While the work isn't difficult, it is very tedious and her directions are often confusing. She also tends to favor some students and will let some make up tests or projects, whereas with others she says, "There are no make ups." I would not recommend this class.

Being a 101 class intended for non-majors and solely for GE, Danielle takes herself and the class way too seriously. It's very tedious, and she gets annoyed with the entire class over one person doing one little thing wrong. Harsh grader, doesn't do As, but I got a B+ just by sticking it out. Do your best to give her what she wants.

She comes off as intimidating but she's cool. It's an easy class but the work can get tedious. Go to class and do the work and you'll be OK

I liked this class alot. you cant really miss it but if you do its ok, not later in the semester though. She gives you packets and tests you. if you skim them youll do alright. If your willing to put yourself on stage youll do fine. she says its not a easy A class, but it is...and intersting. I liked it. All and all...i'd take this class again

I received an A in this class, but the work was mind numbing. Danielle is one of the least professional professors I've encountered at SSU. Get on her good side because I have seen her treat some students worse than others. The class is easy, but I wouldn't recommend it. Danielle is a mean-spirited person.

The class is a total joke; it's theater. You write 3 papers, go to a few plays, and perform on stage. She's a subjective grader and plays favorites. I talked to her privately and she was very rude. Total *****! Gave me a B because in her words "it didn’t look like I was very enthusiastic about theater". Her assistant Peter is a total ****.

She's pretty ****y. Doesn't really give A's. Grade is mostly based on major essays that are impossible to do well on (and I always get A's on essays, and always have). Class wasn't that easy. You have to get on stage and perform in front of everybody pretty much every class period. Not my cup of tea.

3 papers, no tests, no quizzes, a few minor projects. Doesn’t give a lot of a’s, but you should get at least a B. Pretty easy class. Her assistant Peter is a big time perv.

It can be a little too intense at time for a GE intro class, but it was fun and it seemed everyone had a good time and get along. She can be a hard ass, but in a good way. She is very friendly and helpful, but watch out for the papers because she really expects college work from students.

Danielle is a great teacher. She doesn't take any crap from students or the theater department (which can shovel alot of crap). Take a class from her. Any class.

She tries to make her class sound a lot harder than it is at first. The acting is a LOT of fun & it's a great way to meet people. You'll get a lot out of this class & it is one of the only classes I look forward to. Do all your work, she grades tough on the essays, but there's EC if needed.

She tries to scare you off and act mean at first, but her class is do-able. Don't be afraid to go onstage because everyone in the class has to anyways. She grades tough-ish but there is extra credit if you want an A. You must see and write reviews on 3 plays and take quizzes(but she goes over them).
