Dr. Desroches is the best professor I had at WPU. She teaches Anatomy very well that will prepare you for future courses. Be prepared to work very hard because she is not an easy professor. Definitely, go to the SEC. If you are a nursing major, I would definitely recommend you to take her because you will feel prepared to take Advance Anatomy.

If you're taking her over the summer, may the Lord have mercy on your soul. Get ready to WORK like you've never before. She will call u out in front of the class if you don't know something. She doesnt care at all about her students. When I walked into class it was like walking to a prison. What a Horrifying experience. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

The worst teacher I have ever had. Took this over the summer and do not know how I made it out with a B+. I have a 4.0 at my college and this was the lowest grade I ever got so far. So incredibly rude and does not care about her students. I will not be giving WPU another dime if this is the education they promote.

She is the worst professor I have ever had in my entire life. I am taking A&P over the summer and its not even a week in and I hate every single second I'm in her class. She is very rude and gives hours of homework. I will be spending my whole summer doing work for this class until 3 am every night. DO NOT TAKE!!!! SO HARD

Dr. Desroches is the best anatomy professor. I am a nursing student at another school that took A&P I and II with her last summer and I felt so much more prepared than the other students at my school. Although her class took up my whole summer (12 weeks, no break, studying everyday monday-friday I was at wpu from 8 am- 4-5pm) I am so glad I did.

DR. D will teach you everything you need to know about AP. She will also make you work harder for your grade then anyone else. If you want to learn take her. If you are looking for an easy A it won't happen. 1/2 the class leaves or fails. Go to the SEC do every challenge and be ready for the insane test essays. You will pass if you put in the work!

Look; if you are not ready to put in TIME and EFFORT for this class, you need to switch out. Yes shes a tough grader, yes shes intimidating, but she CARES. The amount of extra credit she offers is AMAZING, I went from an F to B- on one exam... please do your work! All of the exams come from HW and study guides. She loves her good students.

Save yourself the trouble, do NOT take her!!!!! I did all her challenges, went to her tutoring, went to the SEC, studied and never did well on the essays on the exams. Her TA's always grade differently. It is never fair. My study group studied the essays together but when exam came only a few of us got points for the exact answer we wrote down.

Dr. Desroches is an incredible professor but if you do take her, get ready to study A LOT. Just study the notes, read the textbook, do the homework, go to the SEC, do the challenges and you will be fine. I didn't take her class seriously and honestly should have deserved a lower grade but she does provide a lot of opportunities to get extra points.

She knows a lot and is a good professor if you know what you're doing and prepared to only study. She is an incredibly hard grader. She basically expects you to know the information already before she teaches it. There is a lot of homework but it does not count unless you do well, there is only 3 exams and a final.

Dr. Desroches is extremely intimidating on the outside but she truly is a nice person. Her class is hard and she expects you to put in a lot of work outside the classroom, but if you do what she expects you will succeed. Go to the SEC and do all her challenges, all my tests were raised from a C to and A because of the extra credit. Great women.

This class is INSANELY hard. It is a blessing to get a C in this class. Do her extra credit challenge questions and go to tutoring because she gives extra points for that. Extra credit can take you from a C to an A in this class. She's high key a scary teacher, but really wants her good students to pass.

Wow what a stressful semester... She knows so much information and has no idea how to portray it to students. She refuses to help if you have any question she automatically tells you to go to tutoring, her homework answer keys are wrong, her tests are hard and she grades you on key medical terms even if you know what you are talking about its wrong

C'mon guys, i don't know what's really wrong with the other reviews. So listen to me carefully, TAKE DR. DESROCHES! Class is easy breezy and you know why? The professor is THE MOST HELPFUL PERSON in the world. You go ask her a question and she will answer you with the most flattering smile. Also STRONGLY encourage you to answer questions in class.
