Prof. Mcgurrin is an awseome teacher and a wonderful person. Her classes are challenging, but in a good way. If you're a CJ major you will def. find that her class will help you in the future with a lot of other classes and internships, etc. She is really fair and very easy to talk to and extremely accesible to students outside of class

This woman is terrible! She is so disorganized. Her classes are an hour and 15 minutes of lecturing with no emphasis on what is important. I wish the school would allow another teacher to teach the course b/c this woman is by far the worst teacher I've had at this school. Do not take CJ201 and if you have to good luck to you!

Horrible class. Take with another proffesor. Hard grader on tests and papers. Very unclear notes and bad at passing back work. There is no way to guage how you are doing in this class untill the last week in the semester.

i don't learn anything in class..she just lectures and never really goes over what we've read. she doesn't help prepare you for tests, or even talk about anything that's on them. she doesn't make it very clear what she's looking for in papers and projects and takes forever to hand work back!
