Her class was one of the best French classes I've ever taken. She has a no-nonsense approach to grammar and explains how to put it in practice straight away. Through weekly journal assignments my grammar improved dramatically! She is very easy to communicate with and is eager to help if you are struggling. I enjoyed the reading, too.

hateful of all students who try to hold her up to her own syllabus standards. strays away many times and tries to make her attitude the official way to conduct the class. someone needs to tell her that she's not indispensisable. she took advantage of another professor's death to make it seems like she was doig the students a favor. avoid please

2011. Great class if you can follow through with where everything is taking you with the syllabus. Gets upset if you are late to class. Aussi, ne pas rendre les devoirs plus tarde que 3 semaines..... elle se sera enfuite. Great attitude and is cool to discuss questions with. Has a good memory of all your late assignments. Class for the MLIS program at SJSU. Waste of time. Assignments vague even in English. Not fluent? You'll spend hours reviewing. Tests timed. HW nothing to do w/ libraries and NG for e-portfolio. Unaware students work. Puts large HW assignments due on Friday and then a big test the next day. Maybe good in person. Online...avoid. Textbook useless.

Class is hard! It's all grammar and analyzing words. Very nice teacher but is always 5-10 min. late. We never really used "Regles d'Or" text. There are 4 translations, pretty easy, will let you make up if you get bad grade. Tests aren't difficult. Pretty lenient. Class not taught in order, makes it hard. I don't know how I got A-.

I already knew everything she taught so this class was a breeze. For some it was really difficult; didn't spend a lot of time explaining throroughly sometimes. Hated her at first but I kind of like her now. Four essays this semester but you have to be an idiot to not get a decent grade (she has you rewrite them) if you do MORE than her corrections!

FREN 25B. I wish I dropped this class when I had the chance. She's a lovely lady, but the amount of essays she wanted us to turn in for the semester (5) was too much for me. She will explain things in English if the class really does NOT understand. Otherwise, everything is in French. Essays follow a theme. Ours was War and Peace.

Trudeau is a nice lady. The class isn't too difficult, she corrects students' essays and lets them turn them in multiple times. Quizzes don't count towards the grade. The grammar portion was confusing, the book didn't help and her tests are pretty hard, but I failed most of the tests and still got a B, so I can't complain!

She is wonderful and her tests are easy especially if you read. The class is only hard if you're a ****bag and know nothing about French. She gives great advice when she grades papers and on the orals and has a lot of patience; I want to hit over half people in that class in the face when they speak so kudos to her. Elle est merveilleuse.

she is horrible. Gives a lot of essays and assigns too many grammar exercises. She says she'll help but all of her explanations are unclear in & out of class. Her tests are ok if you do the exercises and CORRECT them yourself if not her tests are pretty hard. Always go to class it'll help a lot. I hated her class. Avoid her at all costs.
