Danny is a fantastic professor, he really cares about every student in his class (evident in him trying to learn 120 names) and makes sure the content is understood. His best characteristic is his energy, he is hilarious and very engaging. Honestly Dannys commitment to us made me want to be a better student (Something I've never been great at). :)

Danny made class so interesting and exciting! His optimism and passion for economics is awesome! His lectures make sense and he wants to help all his students. His tests are VERY hard though. You definitely need to know his notes and the textbook, and be able to apply the concepts into word problems that he doesn't specifically teach in class.

Took this prof for a review session because the other 1010 prof is terrible, and i learned more things in 8 hours than I did the whole semester. Really knows what hes talking about and makes his lectures very enjoyable, easy to follow and understand.

Energetic, personable, and made micro much better than I expected. Danny put economic ideas in a way students understand--which is the job of a professor. He also provides resources to help study (e-textbook, online infinitely repeatable quizzes with repeating questions, etc), which really helped me with the class.

Danny is a really good prof. He is funny and very passionate about his teachings. He makes you earn your grade for sure, and is a bit unclear with his marking for essays. This class required a lot of work for an introductory class. You can get a good mark but need to work for it. I will definitely take another class with him though.

Danny is very passionate about the evolution of agriculture. the amount of work required is extreme. the knowledge gained is totally useless so dont expect to learn anything that will help you in agriculture. lectures are very dry and long. you have to write 3 papers and a final. very tough grader and final is very specific.

Great microeconomics prof, tests were mostly short answer but overall not that difficult. He's interesting to listen to in lectures.

I really enjoyed this class because hes passionate about economics and tries his best to ensure all students understand the major concepts. He took interest in learning his students names and making himself available outside of class. His tests were very difficult because they include definitions, short and long answer. Highly recommend this class

I find Econ boring yet this was the only lecture that didn't make me nearly fall asleep! He's super enthusiastic and engaging. He does a great job explaining concepts and if the class does poor on a test he gives opportunities to improve marks. The tests do require a good understanding of econ (not multiple choice), but he marks leniently.

No midterms! Hard marker on papers. Doesn't make it clear until after the first paper on how he wants them formatted. If you need help he will help you. Overall gives good feedback but sometimes you have to go to his office to get it.

Dan is very enthusiastic, and expects a lot from students. This course required 3 assignments , a term paper and two midterms. Exams were very easy and as were assignments. Term paper was marked tough but he first marks your rough draft to enable you to change it to get a better mark. He is a very good teacher and appears willing to help .

Love this guy! He's funny and very, very nice and understanding. However, you have to work hard and actually use the study guide. Seriously. Attend class and work through every question in the study guide; you won't get a good grade if you don't use it, unless you're a natural economics genius. Overall, great prof! Would recommend.

Definitely the best prof I've had so far. It's not hard to pay attention in his class. His tests are difficult and you're going to have to study a lot to do ok on his tests but he knows how to get you interested in what he's teaching.

Seems to be a good professor at first, but has impossible tests that are long answer. Text book is expensive and you need it. You have to study extensively in this class to achieve any decent grade.

Danny is the BEST PROF at the University. He is truly engaged in what hes teaching and will gladly spend time with you outside class. ATTEND lectures and you will do well. He can be a hard marker, but if you attend class and work with him he will help you to succeed. If your at all interested in Economics or Agriculture take his class :)
