He's an absolute wonderboy. Aside from the fact that he dresses pretty well and is well versed in his teaching he's really funny. I would take him again. He's a great guy to get help outside of class and he's really great about extra credit and partial credit. and yes...he's absolutely HOT!

He's really funny and interesting. I LOVED going to his class. It was challenging, but definitely not impossible. Do the readings, go to class, you'll be fine.

The easiest class! I took him for two courses and I dind't read the books. Best of all, you'll won't learn anything, just go to class. Papers are perfect if you put everything he says in class. Ask stupid questions just so you can get participation points. You will never get a clear answer from him.

He is my God...This class is so easy. I didn't read any of the books, and still got an A. He explains everything in lecture, so if you go you still actually learn something. And girls, he's so hot!

not a bad class, he explains the readings in class and as long as you write something similar to what he says in your papers you're guaranteed a good grade, participation helps but as long as you take good notes and pay attention you should be fine, ask questions if you're lost-he'll try to help

Class isn't too bad but made better by his HOTNESS-pretty fun & he's always telling jokes w/ his awesome sense of humor--helpful and fairly easy grader..2 papers and 5 discussion sessions (1/2 page ?'s & 1/2 page comments) No midterm just final-knows when something is complex and helps class thru it

Darin's classes are strange because you don't really feel that you or the professor know what you're talking about, exactly, but then you get a good grade. McGinnis is a nice guy, and I would say take him if you are'nt that into philosophy. You'll want someone a little clearer otherwise.

For someone who hardly ever participated in his class, I think I did rather well. :) Final is actually fun and teaching aside, a nice guy who will help you with extra readings if you have an interest in philosophy. Met my future prof through him. I rate him a 10, with or without the cuteness factor.

Prof. McGinnis is awesome. Easy going in class, relates stuff well to students, kind of funny sometimes too. I wrote quite a few papers while... not exactly in the clearest of mindsets and got A's across the board. Fun class though, I Highly recommend it.

This is a clear example of why grad students should not be teaching. Very confusing and he either doesn't know anything or he is not capable of explaining anything. This class is a waste of time and money.
