LOVED HER CLASS & HER. Must buy her book & attend class. The only - thing is the group project, you have to make a whole society w/ politics, community choreography & present. My group members sucked but i still got a good grade. Lectures are fun & interesting. Test are taken in person & are the quiz questions. Quizzes taken online @ home.

Darlene is the best! I did not have any interest in the history of dance prior to her class but she always made class fun. She is always so happy and you can tell she loves her job. I wish she taught other classes in my major. She always made me laugh and was very helpful. Her tests are easy peasy. I got a 100% on #1 and a 98% on #2. Take HER!!

One of the best online class I took. She uses book written by her so quiz are really easy and everything comes from the book. The book is really easy to read and to the point. Normal online class. Discussion every week, quiz, dance critiques (2-3pg), one research paper about a dance that was not mentioned in the book. final and offers extra credit.

She is such an awesome teacher. She is sweet and helpful when teaching you the dances. You have to go to class though, because she takes roll and gives you participation points for your attendance. You have to go to a dance concert at the end of the year and write a paper on it. The final is making up a dance with partners.

She is an easy grader. Just make sure you show up to class and take the notes and the answers to her quizzes/tests are ridiculously easy. The toughest thing is a group project that's due at the end of the semester, but she gives you 2/3 of it to collaborate and get it done. And she is a really sweet person, easy to get along with.

The easiest class I have taken by far. Darlene is sweet and has a lot of energy. She wants her class to pass as long as you try. Everyone pretty much got an A. The only way you didn't get an A is by not attending class regularly. Learning the dances are pretty fun (besides Ballet, I didn't like it). Overall, I enjoyed it.

I guess she is a nice lady.. I was 1 point away from an A and she gave me a B. On the written part of my final, she gave me 49/50 so I guess she didn't think I deserved an A. Attendance is 5 pts a day & I missed 3 classes. Mid-semseter, I asked her in class if I could makeit up and she said I could but when I emailed her, she never emailed me back.

Darlene was amazing. She is so sweet and so lovable. She has a very motherly vibe to her. I recommend her to anyone. If you are not the best dancer she will do her best to help you. Very fun class. Easy A. Love her!

She is worth taking!!! very fun and exciting professor.. she has really great dance routines.. it is a good class to take for GE over any other because you dont have to sit in a chair, instead you get up and have some fun for a class.. She grades very simple dont have to be good at dancing to do well in this class:)

You cover 4-5 styles of dance through videos and discussion, and get to perform it. Each dance section ends with a test where you have to perform a routine with other group members. Not hard, even for those with two left feet. The multiple choice tests are easy considering she gives you the questions beforehand. Ms. O is a very sweet lady.

BEST PROFESSOR ETVER!!! You have to go to class because her notes are fill in the blank and she sends around a roll sheet. The online quizes are easy and the paper is a sinch! Take care!!!!! NO book and all her notes are the answers for the quizes, midterm, and final.

O'Cadiz is awesome. Probably one of my favorite professors. She loves what she teaches and is helpful with anything. Lectures are interesting and work load is easy. Highly recommened this class* and fulfills GE requirements!

Darlene is passionate at the subject and very outgoing. Just 4 online quizzes, 2 papers, and a final. They are very easy and based off your online quizzes. Definitely take her to fulfill your upper division GE!
