Took him for an online course. Very quick to respond to your questions and concerns...therefore helpful. Very straight forward so its easy to know what he is looking for in order to pass. As long as you keep up and turn things in on time it was a pretty easy course.

One of the best classes I have taken. Fascinating subject. He is a little dry but the content makes up for it. His assistant is a phenomenal teacher and she does teach often. MUST show up. Pay attention and you'll get an A.

the class is interesting and the fact that his TA is always there really helps..... She teaches better than he does only because you can hear her and not him. He tends to mumble alot and make corny jokes no one can get. There are easy quizzes in the beginning and a lot of movie watching. GOOD ClASS!

People will tell you that his class is the easiest class you will ever take in your entire college career. They are right! It will be, but the professor will make the class one of the most (if not, the most) boring class you will ever take. If you don't mind sitting through a monotone-voiced lecture for two hours, then take the class. Waste of time

great course, you need to read very carefully for the quizzes but they are not to bad. the tests are cake if you understand what is being taught and you pay attention. showing up is vital to your grade since he takes away points for missed attendances, plus the tests are more based on what he says and teaches than whats in books.

No good at teaching because the voice is unclear and monotonous. Just go to class and go to sleep, pay little or no attention still will be able to pull an easy A. Take him if you have hard schedule with science classes. it will relax you. must attend class.

Great professor. Took during summer A. Two 10 question quizes per week, mid term that was to be no more than 2 pages double spaced. The final is a composite of all your quizzes plus 3 simple questions on a movie. Would definitely recommend this class. Though the class is online, discussion was not mandatory, just extra credit.

Attendance is mandatory and you lose points for not showing up! For tests, study the slides and memorize the charts. For quizzes, READ THE CHAPTER CAREFULLY. All books are necessary. Overall it was cake, this was my most enjoyable college class and I will never forget it. This is still a college class, don't slack off.

Attendence is mandatory! At the end of the semester 1 point is deducted for each class missed. Attendence was not taken for 3 class sessions. Prof. is boring, but class is easy if you study the slides. Mid-term and Final. There are around 10 quizzes that are based on the readings. Quizzes are easy if you read the assignment (around 5 questions). I u

The book is very hard to follow and grasp the concepts (at least for a computer programmer). Papers are short and require some thought, but are graded easily. The mid-term is long, but he gives the topics, and the last paper is based on a movie that is hard to find (check e-bay). I would recommend this class, but it's not easy.

This class is a good class to take online if you stay on top of the work. There were 5 point quizzes (timed for 15 minutes) and a 400 word essay due every Tuesday by 6 pm. The chapters the quiz and essays were on were about 30-40 pages which was a lot. The TA handles everything, not professor. The midterm was tough I thought..but others did well.

Comparative Religious Ethics is a very interesting online class! It is a thinking class. You read the text and write short essays and take quizzes based on that, and participate in "discussions" where you state your personal opinions. I did not get an A only because when things got tough in my harder classes I skipped a few assignments in this one.

Took his Comparative Religious Ethics class online. He gives weekly assignments that are super easy. Just read a chapter from the text and write a 500 word essay. There are also weekly quizzes worth 5 pts. There is a midterm which he gives a review for and a final essay worth double points. A perfect amount of work, not too much. Loved this class!

Its a shame really...such an interesting topic, and yet Dr. Fasching manages to make everyone fall asleep. His lectures are super boring and I think the class would be better if he showed a bit more enthusiasm. BUT, its very easy. If you can manage to stay awake through the lectures/films/documentaries, you should do fine.

The class itself is really boring. Lots of movies and documentaries. Movies are weird and often really sad. Never used the textbooks. His lectures are painfully boring, as he re-teaches everything and goes off on wild tangents. Only 2 grades given in the class: midterm and final. Take if you want to spend 2 hours being bored to tears!

I liked this class a lot! Very interesting subject and the class is really easy. He's really boring and you don't need any of the textbooks at all, but he shows a lot of movies and documentaries that make you think, it's really cool.

You can only miss 3 classes, but its not hard to go to class there are a lot of movies and documentaries. As long as you pay attention and take notes on the movies and documentaries you will do really well!!! He's a good professor, sometimes it can get boring but his TA also teaches and she moves the class along fast!
