Comment:

If you're pretty good at paying attention and hold a mild interest in philosophy then you're all set with this guy. The reading will leave you lost and disgruntled, but Woods will explain it all in a clear fashion. You have 3 tests, multiple choice, scantrons (yuck). Good teacher, doesn't do anything weird or out of the ordinary, open minded.

If it was possible to mate two dead guys, Woods would be the result of Roy Orbison and Jonny Cash.I failed both tests, wrote 3 extra credit papers and passed with a C. GREAT TEACHER!!!

Mr.Woods did a good job teaching this class. The material is hard but he breaks it down into understandable bits. You will appreciate how he taught this class when you go on to a univeristy and they don't hold your hand anymore. Good class for Eng majors, as philosophy comes up in Literature often.

Mr. Woods reminded me of Elvis. He was one of the very few professors that I was not fond of.
