The worst experience in lab ever. He did not know at all what was going on and ignored you if you had a question and he was talking to others about their boyfriends. Very unprofessional and rude.

i liked dr bell. but it was a love him or hate him kind of thing. his tests wernt all that much differant from other teachers, but with the lack of real homework, alot of people wernt prepared for what was being tested. it was also fun doing the head nod impression, but alas, no one remembers it.

Hated the classes. Took it him my freshman year and barely got by. Never explains anything and never answered questions thoroughly. He was a very nice person outside of the classroom, but inside he was horrible!!

Dr. Bell was a great professor and he helped everyone. He was especially helpful with preapering students for med,vet and dental schools; however, some people didn't like him because he asked for a lot. Getting A in his class is not hard if you study.

Very hard, but equally as willing to help. Very nice guy with a good sence of humor. Sometimes can be unclear, and not have other ways of explaining it, so when he tries it only becomes more confusing.

I had Dr. Bell for 115 and am in 116 now. The class is sort can be hard, so people point the finger at Dr. Bell. As long as you study what is said in lecture the class is not so bad.

He's a very nice man, but has problems teaching. If you talk to him reasonably he gives some help, but it's very fustrating and hard to get a good grade.

I had Dr. Bell for two semesters of General Chem, and the first one wasn't so bad. But recent reports from Chem 115 have said that he's gone from difficult but passable to imcomprensible, you're better off teaching yourself out of the book.

Comment:
He moves too quickly in class, going over definitions only. On tests there are only math problems that we did not get much practice on and at the end of the test a very large question worth many points. It is immpossible to get an A on these tests.
