His quizzes and tests aren't too hard, but he will take points off for what seems like minor things. His lectures are very boring and he will go over simple concepts over and over. However, he is very caring and will help you whenever you need it.

Well I had Dr. Elliot for Freshman Seminar. He was the BEST. Very caring and I want him to be my advisor because he's really nice and just overall good spirited! Hopefully one day I will have the chance to experience his teaching qualities in one of my Psych classes. Great man...very kind and warm hearted.

He really cares about what he teaches and his students, loved having him and loved hearing his opinions and experiences. all of our quizes were on blackboard and open book so the class was easy and so was any homework/papers. plan on taking him again!

Awesome teacher!!! Always there to help if you need it, and very approachable. Tests were fair and the grading wasn't too bad. Really hard to keep up if you miss class so you kind of need to go to each class...def. recommend him!!

I have him for Research Methods this semester and again next semester for part 2. He's hard in my opinion. Some of the tests were unfair (a lot of stuff we never went over)and for the research project, we hardly got any help at all and he wasn't clear on the directions at all. Overall, if you're a psych major you'll HAVE to take him. Good luck.

Dr. Elliott is my favorite teacher. I also had him for PSY 270 last Spring. Although the material is difficult and sometimes boring, he has a clear way of teaching it. He genuinely cares and always has time for his students. I highly recommend him.
